When square canopies first came out and we were learning how to use them, there was a period where roll packing was in vogue. Basically started like the first part of the video. Most of them opened OK.
@@Paiadakine I wanted to learn base jump and started throw the parachute with a heavy backpack from a local bridge but when one day I decided and crossed the railings my feet started to shake and I stopped trying. Plus my parents learned it and threatened me to stop continue.
Why do I find this so fascinating? I just did my AFF and 8 consolidation jumps until I run out of savings, can't afford further training now, and here I am watching every single youtube video that has anything to do with skydiving, it feels good but makes no sense
Nice, Same! I spent my savings. Jumped 120 times since starting last year. Bought a rig and the next two canopies that I will be progressing to next before I am even there. It is hands down the most fun thing I have ever done. I have watched every skydiving related video. That now I am watching new ones in languages. The addiction is real.
@@wildeyestudios5 it was about 6k and constantly searching for good deals on used newer condition gear. And lots of research on gear. Haha building my savings back up now that jumping is more affordable.
Which is such a department in manufacture parachute where if there is a small mistake 's done that has suddenly happened due to a bad news, I mean someone tell a worker about his wife accident..and BOOM, a error on parachute.. please I am writing a screenplay and I am stuck on this issue for a long time, I have never seen a factory of parachute so can't imagine that one.. Please if anything which I put on my Hero's death via parachute by a human error.. I hope you'll help me on this

Yep. We called them California Flat Packs.
I bought a second hand canopy from ebay and all these videos are great to help learn for my first jump.
