Definitely there’s a difference. As you’ve told, in the pre-Socratic period, they considered man as part of nature as in the physical environment. They knew the innate interconnectedness of man and the environment they are living in. Eventually, they’ve realized that man is independent from its environment as postulated by Descartes and so on. Are you a philosophy major? 🤔 I think you’re question is too advanced for non-philosophy majors. Hahahaha adbans tinking ka! 😂😝

What makes a chair chair? What makes humans human? You know what I mean. Kumbaga, in marketing terms, somehow, in a way, we can tell that this is your product differential or your unique selling proposition. Parang ganun. Hahahahaha 😂 In summary, matter is about corporeality of things while form talks about the quidditas or whatness of things.

Kaya kung may pa-tokhang noon, malamang nasa watch list na yung mga yan. Hahahaha Differences: Magkakaiba sila ng method at realizations. Kaya nga pinag-aaralan natin ngayon kung san sila nagkaiba. Kaya sila nagdedebate about the self kase they don’t want to settle dun sa already known truth. Binubulatlat nila yung point of confusion para mag-arrived tayo dun sa totoong katotohanan (hhmmm paradoxical 😂). Sana nakatulong sayo ito 😊

Matter is everywhere. Actually, we can use the definition given by our grade 3 Science teacher to us that anything which occupies space and has mass is called matter. It’s the physical “stuff” of the universe. Sa madaling sabi, we’re talking of corporeality of things. You can touch it. See it. Feel it. Smell it. But when we talk about form, we’re talking of “quidditas” or the “whatness” of a thing. What makes a chair chair? What makes humans human? You know what I mean. Kumbaga, in marketing terms, somehow, in a way, we can tell that this is your product differential or your unique selling proposition. Parang ganun. Hahahahaha 😂
In summary, matter is about corporeality of things while form talks about the quidditas or whatness of things.

Similarities ng philosophers: they all want to find the truth. They are all addicted to knowledge. Kaya kung may pa-tokhang noon, malamang nasa watch list na yung mga yan. Hahahaha
Differences: Magkakaiba sila ng method at realizations. Kaya nga pinag-aaralan natin ngayon kung san sila nagkaiba. Kaya sila nagdedebate about the self kase they don’t want to settle dun sa already known truth. Binubulatlat nila yung point of confusion para mag-arrived tayo dun sa totoong katotohanan (hhmmm paradoxical 😂).
