I think once you catch Zygarde from the research and get access to the Zygarde Cube _then_ you can find Zygarde Cells on Routes 👌

Niantic just posted on Twitter that they are still rolling out permission for creating routes.
Would have been nice if some people could have made some approved routes before the event that givess bonuses for using the routes.
Well some people have had the ability to submit routes for the last month. It was just super buggy and hard to complete, I submitted 1 a month ago but it bugged out and did not properly go thru so im sure it will be denied
I made some routes beforehand. It crashes every 3 minutes and you have to stop where it crashes to continue. Same with walking the routes. I hope they fix that.
Some of us have had access for over a month and have been making routes. I currently have 7 accepted and playable in game. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to be the case everywhere.

Would be nice if 99% of the playerbase could use the new routes feature. what a disappointment. Routes should have been delayed at least a month or 2 with more beta testers so there was enough time to curate and approve routes

iPad the ability to make routes for about two weeks three weeks but I didn’t know what it was so I didn’t mess with it. Wish I had known because now that it’s live there’s only one route nearby so I’ve started working on submitting but I have to wait for approval.

Only certain trainers have been given access to create routes so far. Apparently, some people have had them for over a month now.

And on the zig zagging. It’s more than likely gps drift issues. I had to scrap a rather giant route because right at the end of it there were a lot of trees. And for some reason it jumped me around it totally off the actual trail
I take the same path around my local park everyday. So being able to make it a route and get extra bonus stuff every day. Kinda nice.

yea I live out in the country on a dead end road no stops or gyms for miles. don't have the option to create routes and no routes have even been created in my surrounding towns that have gyms and stops

If you create or use a route, additional spawns should spawn on that route. I feel like that would be a huge QOL improvement for all players rural or urban

I'm not sure if all your videos are like this but, this is the first time I googled a Pokemon Go feature that I was not familiar with (Routes this time), and the person in the video got right to the point. It was great to see you actually show us how to find 'routes' and for you to do a route from beginning to end. Going to use your egg suggestion. Also, thanks for saying you don't see an option to create a route yet. I learned more in this video than most. Plus it was entertaining. Watched to the end even though I had the information I needed. There are currently no routes where I live but, I'm sure there are tons near where I work in NYC so, I'll try one tomorrow.
As another tip for first time users, it can be very confusing to ‘walk’ a route that is reversible. Always ensure you’re starting at the BLUE flag on the map and move towards the RED flag.

Apparently the more routes you do the better the rewards. I’ve done thus a few times and gotten an Elite fast TM for it
Great vids as always. I got the routes notification Friday but for some reasom many here in the UK cannot play it. Is it on a roll out basic where certain countries can play first or is it just anothe pokemon go glitch?

The entire time you were saying you weren’t finding any Zygarde cells, it’s because you didn’t progress in the special research. You need to get to page 3 and get your Zygarde and the Zygarde Cube before the game will ever spawn any Zygarde cells for you.
Have you found any cells? I did everything up to the task "Find a zygarde cell" Do you know how I can get one?

@@lukenza57 I haven’t found one yet. Where I’m at we only have 1 route that’s even been established, and that I know of, only one person that can create a route. They have submitted some but they aren’t approved yet. I’m going later with a group to do the one existing route later on, which will be my first time.
As far as finding cells, they’re supposed to look like a little orb of light on the ground, like Pokémon sometimes look when they take a few extra seconds to spawn instead of doing it immediately. I’ve also seen and heard that it’s NOT a guarantee you even find one while doing a route, and there’s no set amount you’ll find in “x amount of routes” so it’s just either you find one or you don’t 🤷🏻♂️
@@joshuaregister5955Did 4km in 4 routes in total. All after grabbing the 10% Zygarde and thereby also the cube. Not a single cell spawned. Either I'm unlucky, or it's bugged, which wouldn't be too surprising given that we're still talking about Niantic

The Create Route is on your profile page, just above your gym medals. But only a few trainers have the feature activated so far

This video is such a vibe! The feature really should have been completely rolled out with time for players to make routes and actually have them approved before an event with bonuses for using the feature…. I’ve had good luck with the one route near me. Unfortunately still haven’t seen any Zygarde cells. Hopefully making routes will go well, as I’ve had the ability for a month but never tried it…. 😅
They did. I was part of that group. I made 2 routes. But it was really hard because the game force exited every 3 minutes and when it does that you had to stop where you and reopen the app for it to restart. It took a long time. It happened again when I tried to walk the route, so I hope they fix that. Mystic didn't seem to deal with the crash, though.
They are using us to do the work for them and the incentive is these cells for zygarde. Niantic knew that if there was no real incentive right away then routes wouldn't be created as fast. Only issue is now the cells are so rare that ppl may stop looking for them all together. And if ppl stop looking then ppl stop creating routes. It seems like Niantic can't get anything right.

They need to increase the cell drop rate I have done 15 routes yesterday and today and only have gotten 2 this is going to take so long to do

Hey mystic , it was fun looking at you struggle with the routes, youd find them in ur trainer profile below the incubator info(accessible only after lvl 50) and u get to collect zygarde cells only after u get to page 3 of the research.

This is false information. You do not have to be level 50. The ability to create routes is just not rolled out to every player yet. Stop spreading misinformation.
@@henryaz_ We kinda don't know what the requirements are cause they have been so super vague about what they are and haven't really given any good information. For all we know this poster could be right. Unless you are from Niantic then you don't really know the real story either.

To create a route, you have to click on your caracter in the bottom left corner and then scroll down. Right above your badges, there is a button wich says "create new route" and if you click on it, you can create a new route

@@DarkSpartana Thats not true. It depends on how long you have your account if you have it or not. Some players are getting it later than others. I dont have it yet either.

No routes near where I live. And I live in San Francisco. (OK, treasure island, but still) Was hoping I could create a route but another poster said that you have to be level 50 to submit them. Which seems ... WTF. The fact that Mr Pokémon himself Mystic7 has no idea how to create routes and even worse has trouble completing them gives me pause. I know they are trying to get people out of their homes but this doesn't seem like it will do the trick. From the fact that I've never ever seen another player in sight at my closest gym while I stand there all alone in the wind while I see people battling there I'm guessing 99% of players are sitting at home spoofing (correct term?) their location to play.

A route recently appeared near the “crooked” section of Lombard Street but it includes two inaccessible areas and goes straight through a block of high rise apartments. I’d like to know if it can be completed. (See my other post).

Even at local parks with lots of stops i see no routes, prolly cause its gotta go through a whole process and this is a 3 day event. Also its like 95f in my area during peak hours so thats another

Just request a common route that you take often that they most likely will except and is able to request as a route, and that way you can use the route feature more often for more rewards
Now we wait for everyone to get this option. I'm not surprised that a smaller town in Hungary didn't get the chance yet. This is so new that according to an article the majority of players can't use this yet.

im heading downtown in my city today to make what my friends call the loop its a massive loop that covers probably 3km and hits 7 massive spawn points. its nice that others will be able to see what we do finally!
Routes have been used in Ingress since before PoGo has been out
Routes can be made from your Trainer Profile page above your "recently visited" gyms and medals.
Create is shown on the routes on nearby *if you have it*. You don't yet. It's slow roll out
It's also on your profile under the badges ..
How do you have videos from the event youll be hosting before it happened?
I got the new Plus+ device and while it’s interesting, it’s kind of buggy in that it will always just leave 2-3 Pokemon on screen without activating to auto-throw (or even just activate to manually catch when auto-throw is turned off). So I don’t think I’d want to just put my phone in the pocket and just rely on the Plus+ to catch what I find while out walking, which is something I totally felt comfortable doing with the Pokeball Plus and original GO Plus devices. I also can’t get Routes to work at all. I have From A to Zygarde research in my Special menu but my Nearby menu has no Routes tab. And when I select gyms or Poketops nearby, I have no Record button. None of the tutorials on CZcams or the FAQ on Niantic’s site help me. Everyone just says hit Record but I don’t have that button. Yet I have the special research so clearly I have the update. This launch has been so buggy.

Go under me, between eggs and gyms, create route is located there, everyone doesn't have access yet to creating routes.
It looks like there is a slight bend towards the left on the end of the route that you said was glitched. I think you just missed the left turn, and there was no glitch.
If you have the ability to create a Route, it will be on the Trainer page above Gym badges.
Of course there was 3 routes near him. 0 anywhere around me and other areas I'm in chats with 😂

You can make a route from the "me" tab right above recently visited and medals. Idk if everyone has that feature yet though.

Its funny that i dont see any routes in my area even though i live in a crowded city with lots of gyms. It just shows how many of these actually play PokemonGo legitly without spoofing

Not sure Niantic thought this through. So I have to go drive somewhere to find a route instead of walking out my door to local park or stops! Should of been fully unlocked for everyone before putting it as a task! Well done Niantic!

I have had similar experiences with Routes. Having completed one and attempted a few others. The new ones are not registering my presence on the route.
Niantic can go take one up the chimney. Day 1, couldn't find a route where I live. Day 2, I drove 25 miles (40km) to a nearby town of 10k ppl, nothing. Day 3, I drove 62 miles (100km) to a city with 60k ppl, still nothing. Why make an event where the main feature isn't released?

here in Castricum, Netherlands, there are no routes and in the nearby city's nothing this sucks, it's a real pain, but hey, it's niantic

As a rural player, I'd like to say 3 of my 5 routes were published and I only have an issue with in person raiding.
My first route paused 5 ft before the finish and wouldn’t unpause reported that it wouldn’t let me finish but didn’t get the badge. I did get zygard cell and rewards from mateo so it’s weird niantic didn’t credit it. It was a long one.

I just made 5 routes around my village. All need to be approved. Hopefully it's not the pokestop reviewers, they'll all fail for live animal lol!
The Route Follow is very difficult. If the route is broken it pauses and you have to start of😢 to create a route click on your avatar to create a new route. That's exactly what my Route was doing😅😂
One (26 minute) route appeared near me two days ago. It is in a high-traffic tourist area on a very steep hill. I took one look at it and reported it because it goes through two inaccessible areas and through private residences. The next day was Community Day and I was near part of the route. I tried to walk it but went off the route when I stayed on the sidewalk. There is no way to walk through a block of high-rise apartments with no gaps between them. The route would then lead to an inaccessible area toward a part of a park where you cannot enter. One of the start pokestops is accessible but the route immediately takes you through an inaccessible part of another park toward a nonexistent park exit. What a terrible thing to to to loyal trainers when they are tourists. (Spoofers?)
Interesting that I got no credit for distance walking part of the middle of a route.
Now the routes tab shows no routes nearby but it still shows up on my map view. Hopefully anyone who hasn’t started it wont see it. Ugh, there were hoards of people climbing up and down that steep hill over the weekend but thank you, Niantic if you removed it.

Nice video! It really helped me to understand the routes feature better since i had no clue what to do and how it worked. The reason why you didnt find any Zygarde cells is because you get the actual Zygarde Cube at the 3rd quest of the "From A to Zygarde" quest, if you complete this quest you also get the 10% form of Zygarde.
