There’s something bittersweet about reading and seeing characters grow and have their lives and then after the final chapter, you won’t be able to see them anymore. But Here U Are broke me the most since there was a collection of amazing characters that I got attached to, from the main couple, the other couples, YuYang’s roommates, XiaoYi and WangWang the fujoshi. But still, I was happy we get to see all characters even after graduating like DaBai having his own family( sucks we didn’t get to see the other two roomates Big Jang and Ji ), the girl who had a crush on YuYang during the earlier chapters, even XiaoYi and WangWang having a baby! I’ve always shipped these two 😂 Not to mention I’m a college student so the ending really hits home once they went their separate ways.... No one is going to see this but from time to time, I come and listen to this song. I was introduced by my ex-girlfriend. She told me she loved this song and the band. She always wanted to go to their concert. Well when I first listen to it. I felt like this song is our song. Everything about it. I didn’t expect to fall this hard for this girl but I did. She was the most charming person I’d ever met. I told her that where ever she is, I’ll always be by her side. When she was visiting her family, she told me she misses me and I said don’t worry. THIS MAN AND THIS BAND LITTERALLY SAVE MY LIFE! I never cried once after a dark period time of my life! It was like living with no purpose with no soul. A lifeless corpse waiting to be feed to the dead. Mental Illness and depression engulf you completely then you start to lose it mentally and physically. I knew I was never the same after my very closed older brother passed 10 yrs ago, then having to lose my older sis last year's made me have to relive the horrific feeling again. I was slowly recovering but after sis passing made me relapse insanely reversing all my steps to becoming better. I feel much healthier now mentally and physically. Yes, for this song and it's meaning it is interpreted differently personally to me. When I sing and play this song on piano and guitar it's for them and me. After hearing this song. I felt I was finally able to let out all the tears and sadness I've held in for so long. This song is forever in my debt for consoling me during those horrific dark times.
