    Excellent...I Tackled this with pretty good results. The only thing I missed was lining up the drive sprocket like you said. I had your voice in my mind but it wasn't pushing up on their good and I think I moved it...anyway didn't notice until I had everything back together and went to check my tire air. I can get to the stem but it would have been nice if I had lined that up!! Not going to take it off again just to change that but can't say you didn't warn me! thanks for the video

    Very nice Dude. Saved to my favorites. I have not bought a Spyder yet but hope to this summer. Trying to find a deal I can live with! My (sort of) local dealer is pretty nice but they are about 60 miles away from my home. I am a shade tree mechanic my self. So I love this content! Looking for a Spyder, these things are expensive! The dealer won’t budge off of sticker. I’m not paying sticker, no way! I sold high end luxury cars for almost 20 years. Learned a lot about depression and they aren’t going to get so deep in my pocket! I’m not in a hurry to buy so they will have to wait to earn my business! I may end up buying from a private party like I did on my last bike. Saved a ton of money and got a sweet bike. 1997 Valkyrie with under 2000 miles! Paid about $7000.00 for it. That bike was about 13000.00 when it was new. The guy also had some cool custom upgrades. An Arlen Ness tail stagger tail (fender) and a sweet Corbin saddle, windshield,and a few other things. I bought a Two brothers header system. For it about a year later and installed it myself. It had twin pipes that were about 4.25 at the opening. Sounded like a cross between a small bock Chevy and a Porsche in heat! That rumble was amazing!!!

      Thank you for watching! If the noise is coming from the rear like the rear wheel first check your brake pads to make sure they are not metal to metal....no pad left. If your brake pads are ok about the o my other thing to make noise would be the rear wheel bearings.

    Hello. I live in New Zealand and also have a 2016 f3. Excellent video. I'm changing my rear tyre shortly due to the centre wear.
    I liked your windshield. I would like to buy one but am concerned that i will not get the correct one. I would be buying from ebay. Have been told my height sitting on the bike {5ft 6in } is very important. I do not want head wobble.

    • @spyderryder
      @spyderryder  Před 4 lety +2

      The alignment is good. I think this was a video on the rear tire. The issue is air pressure and how hard you ride. I have lowered rhe rear tire to 22 pounds and it helps. The front tire wear is great and if ot was out you would see inner or outer tire wear.

    • @spyderryder
      @spyderryder  Před 6 lety +1

      So I'm at 46000 miles not sure how many I have out on this tire and its time to replace it. It has done very well I feel. In the wet under hard acceleration you will kick the rear end out but at highway speeds it never lost traction. For the price its not a bad tire. I like the kumho better and if I would have taken better care of this tire I would have gotten more miles out of it! I got more miles oit of it then an oem tire and I did not give up any in dry handling. It never hydroplane at speed but at low speed hard acceleration you will spin this tire!! But thats fun at times!

    • @spyderryder

      Not tobad if you can do the work yourself. Oil change is $80 brakes complete set 103. K&N air filter 45. Tires are from 45 to 200 depending on witch tire you go with. Oil changes are every 9300 miles if you have rhe 3cly. 5000 miles on the V twin

      @spyderryder  Před 4 lety +2

      Its not uncommon for an end cap to be just on tje loose side. So I also saw your other comment. I have done all of my spyders this way with no issues. The only time it did not put the belt back in the same spot was when i had a trany issue. If the belt is riding to the out on the out side of the pulley adjust the right side adjust. Adjust it in. If you lift the rear wheel off the ground and leave it in gear so the back tire can rotate you will see tje belt walk back in. Its very easy to do. Good luck
