  • Childhood Dementia Initiative’s Head of Research, Dr Kristina Elvidge, gives a brief introduction to our new analysis of childhood dementia research. The findings reveal historic and ongoing research inequity.
The result: kids with dementia are dying because there hasn’t been enough research to find treatments and cures.
But there is good news. Childhood cancer research has generated great outcomes. It sets an example of what can be done and what will be done once childhood dementia gets the attention and action that’s so urgently needed.
👉 We’re getting this report in front of funders and policymakers. Our message: we cannot ignore childhood dementia anymore. The time for change is now.
