- You think playing a great character on this great character is GREAT!!?? No.....not really.Too many greats and not enough WTH? Despite being made by Activision (heh), controls are bloody sloppy, and what' s with the movie pluggin? I recall EGM gave it very low scores and rightfully so. Even some of the FMV is dowright weird
NOTE- Game is based on the animated X-men series on FOX at the time (well,least some of the voice actors are there)
NOTE-I'll be putting up some of the unlockables later

For me Mystique was hard as fuck

pretty sure they took inspiration from Capcom, gameplay wise and they pulled it off effectively and made they own spin

Ah, I loved this game when I was younger when I had my Ps1. And I still remember Wolverine saying his "not even warmed up" after defeating an opponent like he said it at 10:05. I repeat that quote of his to myself sometimes in my head even to this day because it really stuck with me and he just says it like a total badass.

детство вспомнила: как экономили с братом на проезд, чтобы купить диск на Плейстейшн 2, играли он за Россомаху, я за Саблезуба, и называла его братом Россомахи, мой брат не верил мне, я это и впрямь выдумала, но через несколько лет вышел фильм, который подтвердил их родство, я была приятно удивлена, играла просто рандомно быстро нажимая на кнопки, либо один прием отбивала быстро, чтобы противник не успел нажать свою атаку, так радовались с каждым купленным диском, порой вообще денег не оставляли на дорогу, и зайцем приходилось проскакивать, а после с друзьями дисками менялись, и один пацан дал его другому пацану, в итоге диск с этой игрой был утерян, единственный раз удалось активировать неожиданный прием у Роук, когда она поцеловала другого персонажа, тем самым нанеся смертоносный удар, больше повторить не удавалось, даже при отработке в зале всех ее комбинаций, не пересматривая Людей икс, даже забыла, что у нее способность такая была, и наблюдать прием с поцелуем было удивительно, а еще спустя пару лет мой брат скачал с компа торрентом эту игру на чистый диск, и мы вновь в нее смогли поиграть, на тот момент он даже сам не думал, что получится, а меня так совсем шокировало

I remember getting into this game and also thinking it was part of the marvel vs Capcom series. I'm actually surprised its not a Capcom game. I was addicted to all the marvel vs capcom games and this one as well. All good games.

people totally forget this game in 2008 when Street Fighter 4 was out and Capcom was highly praised for making a 3D fighting game with 2D mechanics and mirror stances.
JUst ordered, and played this tonight. Beat Magneto on medium with Cyclops. Already one of my favorite X Men video games I've ever played. It's a shame I never got to it growing up.

The X-Men really do need to have their own proper stand alone fighting game franchise. They basically have everything needed suited for making a game of that genre. X-men have a training room (you have a place to do fun mini game bonuses like in Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat). They have a lot of interesting characters with fighting skills. There are a lot of villains and heroes to choose from. They have their own big cool bosses to create a basic classic ambiguous story arch (the kind we typically see before the fighting games started having more in depth stories.). The series even has his own list of sensational settings to use as environment from famous history making battles from the series stories in the comics to use. Hell, they comics even has unique iconic fighting moves the game can incorporate you see all the time in the comics. (The Wolverine's and Colossus's fast ball special, for example.) Everything you need is right there for a developer to make. All you need is a skilled competent staff, equipment, have a budget to produce the game, and there to be a video game company willing to make the game.

I cant believe i completely forgot all about this game if i remember right it was on a demo disk were u could only play only one round as wolverine tnx 4 posting. I was to poor to afford whole games so i was always begging my friends for there demo disks.
