North Melbourne defeated Hawthorn by 33 points at the MCG in the semi final. Aaron Edwards kicked four goals and youngster Jesse Smith turned in a best-on-ground performance for the Kangaroos.

I was at this game, along with 74K others. I remember the roar was deafening every the Hawks got the ball.
