Making a Song in 2 Days?! - Last week I was lucky enough to visit PresentDayProduction’s Studios in rural Essex for a couple of days to write a song with James their mixing engineer/producer. I thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to vlog my experience there to show you all what we got up to.
The aim of the visit was to finish writing and recording the song in the 2 days (we decided that we could work on the mixing of it remotely). We spoke a bit beforehand about the direction we wanted the song to go in and the style of music and when I arrived at the studio, we had only one line of the chorus written. At the end of the video, I sum up what I have learnt about working in a recording studio compared to working in a home studio.
Thank you so much to James and Mark from PDP for having me. It is a really welcoming, professional studio and I loved every second! As I mentioned, they have a great CZcams channel with some really interesting, entertaining and informative videos that I would highly recommend.
