Slow Traveling the Basilicata (Lucania) Region: Vanlife with Snow, a Farmer and Mud

We like to slow travel, where we can explore and get to know the areas and people a little better than just checking an item off of a travel list. This video is in Basilicata, or Lucania in the old dialect. We experienced our first snow in years driving through the small mountains and passing the wild horses grazing. Armando met a farmer named Tonino and shadowed him for a day. Cheese making, moving cattle and listening to stories of the area from a local made for a great day.
The weather has been raining, too, which means a lot of 'sticky' situations, aka muddy roads. Mork handled everything Armando threw at him. Our little synchro* in a petite VW campervan navigated through downpours, skinny backroads and swampy forests without a hitch. There are so many times we love how compact Mork is!
