In Tua Nua | Self Aid, Dublin, May 17 1986

In Tua Nua's live set from Self Aid, at Dublin's RDS, in its entirety. Introduced on-stage by the late Gerry Ryan, In Tua Nua launched into a memorable performance with "Seven Into The Sea" setting the tone. "Pearl Of Dreams", "Somebody To Love" and "Love" kept a captivated audience wanting more.
Self Aid was a concert organised to tackle the growing problem of unemployment and emigration in Ireland, heavily leaning on the success of Live Aid the previous year. In Tua Nua, along with a welter of Irish music's finest, certainly made it a day to remember.

My brother & i stood in the wind & rain for 10 hrs 2c u2 for 25 minutes,& fxxk me it was incredible MAN BACK THERE SAYS WE CAN DO ONE MORE.THIS IS A SONG ABOUT THIS CITY ITS CALLED BAD.whay memories.35 yrs on & u2 are still the greatest LIVE BAND out there & im lucky to be still travelling to see them

They were indeed! They opened for Simple Minds. Other bands on that bill were The Bangles, The Waterboys and The Cult.
