Dex genuinely comes across like he is in love with Emma and I'm here for it
Ambika’s performance impressed me in part because she managed to communicate the emotions and vulnerability of someone of who holds back a lot to protect herself. And I love how Leo showed so much nuance on Dexter’s journey. Dexter couldn’t catch a break the whole series and Leo managed to portray multiple levels of his heartbreak.
One of the greatest love stories EVER told. I sobbed like a baby. Leo and Ambika's chemistry was off the charts. I fell in love with her and with them as a couple. What an exceptional show.
Will never get over Emma & Dexter… these two & their love for each other is so beautiful & heartbreaking… Absolutely love this edit.❤

I've watched it twice already! On the second watch I was yelling "why would they do this to me"?!!? I hadn't watched the movie or read the book, so, that ending was sly and unseen!
Oh my god I'm so glad I knew to expect it because even in the film (which I saw first) I was completely flawed for days!
I've just finish 19 times and still do think I am done with Dex and Emma
I think I am still in denial in how this story actually ends. But the scene where Dexter is sitting alone thinking of Emma being beside her just rips my heart out.

You selected and captured the right scenes and audios to encapsulate the core of it all. The connection... Lifeline... The differences making it all the more magnetic.... I am compelled to watch it again .. the last episode was perfection in handling how grief looks and feels like

why does emma needed to die..I was really hurt and I cried a love that was needed to end in a very tragic way were God has given time time to be happy and to really express their purest Love. Im sorry Dexter , I feel the pain Emma is one big true love whose friendship is truly the most strongest foundation of LOve. I hope the writer felt our pain and I still now crying,,,,Why Emma needed to die hhuhuhuh

Im a stoic dude that doesnt care fr love dramas but this film is quite relatable to my personal dilemma in life .
Very hard not to think, he ended up with her… after he “lived” he took her love, support, and everything she had to offer for his own benefit.
Why would u offer to sleep with her when they were skinny dipping, when u well know she is in love with u and u casually, at that time as her best friend…
I can’t shake that aspect of this relationship, sigh..
In the age of social media this type of relationship I don't think is possible . Calling and chatting is hardly what people care about

@@WickedDreams This Netflix one is awful! It makes Dex and Em a sex-crazed couple. What the world need now is the happy couple and their smiles (let’s cut the all kissing scenes out except the one in the maze scenes where Em briefly kissed Dex after she knew he was getting married😄)
I should've turned the TV off when I saw the two of them got together, should've pretended that was the end, I already knew how it would end but it hurt so much more to actually watch it

Unfortunately for me, I don't think she is a good actriz. She hardly smile in the movie , and she had the same face expression most of the movie. Great story, love the movie with Ann H. I cried when I watched the movie, but I was disappointed about this version. Just my personal opinion.
Maybe because she was supposed to be struggling after college and the character was supposed to have a lack of confidence.
and again. again a series where we see a white, blond, model-type guy who falls in love with a woman who is a representative of people of color. Minority women are happy that there isn't a blonde actress and then romanticize a blond male actor.
