This is literally the only Piers dub I’ve found and genuinely liked. A lot of other voice actors focus more on having a good singing voice that’s high pitched and energetic solely for the singing aspect of his character. It makes me really cringe because it’s such a sharp contrast to who Piers is. This is the first time someone has managed to actually capture what Piers is like outside of his career. The voice is laid back and tired, it’s definitely not high energy unless certain moments call for it and even then it’s clearly just passionate, which is exactly what Piers is. God I hope whoever is casted as Piers has a similar voice to yours because you did such an amazing job.

FRICKIN PHENOMENAL! The other dubs I’ve seen rush the words and gave his voice a bit of a squeak. Didn’t really click. But, yours mate, you absolutely nailed it. When he wasn’t on the mic he sounded rough but when you pulled out the mic, he sounded like he was properly cheering on a live audience. Proper props to you, my guy. Great work. Looking forward to more from you.
I'm SO GLAD I found someone who actually gives him an accent. I keep finding comic dubs and such that give all the SWSH characters American accents, and it makes the dialogue sound super awkward. This is beautiful!

i'm so glad this fandub has the accent. people tend to just dismiss that piers is canonically british and this perfectly captures the voice i imagine him having. it's so awkward to hear the american accent with the british slang thrown in.

The most unbelievable thing in this entire game for me, is that he still has good hearing. Like I’ve only been to a few concerts but being up close and personal with multiple large speakers can’t do good for your ears
Out every gym leader I faced on my journey piers was the only one to actually dealt one of my Pokémon even Raihan was easy and you had to use 2 Pokémon at once
Dude this is- fucking incredible. The accent fits ironically too. I love the intensity, even if it's an optional choice once you begin the game, Gamefreak should have voiceacting. I kow you should fill in the character's voice yourself in your head but i really don't like that, i think it would feel much better with VAs so you can connect with the characters even more, good job man
