    I was lying to myself and everyone else too. My headline CZcams video on my Pilates Channel was my story, how I left my career to do this as it helped my back so much. Even in that video I was lying.
    My beliefs were holding me back even then when I had experienced huge benefit. I was telling myself my progress was amazing but I couldn't do more. I blew those limiting beliefs out of the water. Moved past them to achieve much more.
    I was also passing those limiting beliefs on to others.
    If you approach things in the right way, with patience, it's amazing what you can achieve, far beyond what you believe. Now lifting heavier weights than prior to back pain, I have less flare ups than ever, and feel stronger and better than ever.

    I loved coming across you channel. I was recently diagnosed with a disc herniation. I’ve done a ton of research speaking to professionals and specialists that specialize in back pain and injury. They all agree core strengthening is fundamental but they also all agree running, jumping and squatting should not be done as that is typically what caused the issue in the first place. Jumping, squatting and running shortens your spine and compromises your discs. I’m working on my core strength and looking forward to start my Pilates journey, just wanted to share my concerns from this video. I’d like to get exercise programs from you if possible. I’m in the US btw.

      Thank you for commenting! Sorry to hear you've been struggling with that 😫 Certainly the early days of herniation recovery, you'll want to avoid those things. But not for too long! My journey has been long and this has been over years.
      It's very much down to individual recovery and how you feel, but when the time is right, all of those things will help you get stronger and more resilient. Your spine, like muscles, will get stronger with load. I'd be more than happy to help, feel free to get in touch 😊
