  • To become an Uber driver in Germany, you will need to meet certain requirements set by Uber and the German government. These requirements may vary based on the city you wish to drive in, but generally include:
Age: You must be at least 21 years old to drive for Uber in Germany.
Driving license: You must hold a valid driver's license for at least two year.
Vehicle requirements: Your vehicle must meet certain safety standards and be registered in Germany. The specific requirements for your vehicle will depend on the city you wish to drive in.
Insurance: You will need to have valid car insurance that covers commercial driving.
Background check: Uber will conduct a background check to ensure that you have a clean criminal record and driving history.
Once you meet the requirements, you can sign up to become an Uber driver by visiting the Uber website and following the steps outlined for driver registration. After you are approved, you can start accepting ride requests from passengers in your city. Keep in mind that Uber drivers in Germany are considered self-employed and must pay taxes on their earnings.

Driving 12 hours a day for 2000 a month, that's terrible, you could work any minimum wage job in Germany and get the same if not more.

I would like to congratulate you on the educational content of this video. a very important issue. To be an Uber driver in Germany, is it mandatory to start a freelance or self-employed activity? If yes, where and how can I do it?

I know Germany don't accept American driver license so if you moved to germany as an american and wanted to be an uber driver you would need a driver license for that country.

Does anyone know how long does it take to get this P-Schein? I have read from the internet that you even can't apply for P-Schein if you don't have a residence and after you apply for P-Schein you need to wait 6 WEEKS to get the document. So if I understood correctly, you go to Germany, rent an apartment first and get a certificate from the owner that you live there. Then with this certificate you go to the local municipality and register your residence. And apply for no criminal records. After that, with residence approved you can visit P-Schein doctor to take medical tests, wait one week and then you can apply for P-Schein and then wait another 6 weeks? So basically all the paperwork takes 2 months????? You rent an apartment, pay the rent for two months (plus deposit), pay for living for 2 months, pay for P-Schein and municipality paperwork, and then you need to rent a car. You need to have a lot of money to start :)
