    Great video! Thanks a bunch. I just fixed my 2007 Tahoe by watching this video. I did the disassembly/assembly and re- installation and my son soldered the connections. There's other videos but yours covers the fine details. Thanks again.

    EXCELLENT video
    I have no fear about doing the exact same repair on my 08’ Silverado
    Your next post needs to be an instructional video to help other content creators understand the correct way to make an informative concise as well as interesting video

    That's what I did.. A lot of other people say you HAVE to replace the mosfet but if it's still working I don't see why it's necessary... and like you say you will be able to see if the mosfet is blown or cracked pretty easily...

      Alot of them come in burned up....i definetly replace those (no choice there) I think the bad connection is what causes them to fail and burn up so if the component is still good and you beef up the connections then it shouldnt fail. Just my theory though

    And if part needs to be replaced do you have a part #?

    What is the connection you used to test it while you were working on the table?

    So when it starts dropping a digit or tries to dim down, this is the place to resolder the cold joints????

    • @AutomotiveElectronics
      @AutomotiveElectronics  Před 2 měsíci +1

      yes....occasionally there will be a bad processor but 90 percent of the time that will fix the display issues.
