Had a 6290 with loader on a farm I was on as machinery operator as the big girl even with a 8160 in shed, would ditch the loader and pull the 5frw kneveland mounted reversible plough with her instead of the 81, was about half a km slower but quicker headland turns made up for it

Was the bigger Massey 8200's series tractors a hit over there at the time? Or was the 6290 considered a big workhorse so the bigger yokes were'nt needed?

Most people would say New is best for driver fatigue etc. But there is the minority who won't agree
