Not exactly , you have to define your curls in every process of revamping curly hair, and I do not advise too much heat on your curls, it might cause it to loose volume.

A good natural oil is good for your human hair, I haven’t really tried olive oil and can’t give a definitive opinion but you can search more about it online 🤍

Another method if you don’t want to use a microwave is to tie the wig into a nylon.
Make a hot water bath I.e hot water in a basin then drop the nylon inside and cover with a tray or any thing for about 30minutes to 1 hour.
Then bring out, rinse and continue the normal process.

Put ur wig in a zip lock. Seal it, place it in very hot water in a bowl and cover it for 5-7 minutes for straight hair and one hour for curly hair. I hope this helps
