Too many cooks in the kitchen and too many hidden faces with this board. We need an owner, it doesn't need to be a Rangers man. Just someone who is a smart businessman and can grow, build and run the club in the right way and set the club up for a prosperous and successful future. Should have cashed in at end of 55 for Morelos , kent, tav and goldson etc. and used money to re shape team but they hessitated and we lost millions and lost leagues anyways

He hasn't yet for me, at all in terms of how we try and play or seeing any style of play. I am not massively rating the guy so far but we will see how it shapes up when the window shuts. There needs to be some progress and at least lay a glove on Celtic and register a win or two minimum for me to stay backing him. A good coach can improve any players he has. I hope Clement is pointing out the things missing from certain players games and working with them to eradicate the weakness and mistakes out of some of them. You would think with video analysis these days he could show and tell each individual in preseason where they have went wrong clearly and what they should be doing and then working on the field to change it. For example, show Dessers when he switches off, or gets caught offside, or when he takes too many touches or doesn't shoot on sight. Show Wright when to cross or pass from the wing, and get him to work on his power and shooting. I would expect that in this day and age, the manager could arrange emailing each player, video, and instruction on what to work on. We should be working on set pieces as well. The thing is though, I don't know if they do anything like that and if players try and improve or if they just turn up, phone in the training and go through the motions. We will see when the real action starts of this preseason bares fruit at all in terms of conditioning and improvement. I really hope so. Any player can make improvement. If they show the right attitude. I think of guys like Beckham and the footage of him staying behind to practice free kicks after training. I wonder do any of our lads show the capacity and try and do extra things to improve. That's the attitude I hope Clement is aiming for and any players with us.
As long as the Sash, Derry's walls and the like are sang we'll never get any proper investment. It's alright though because Tav will score some penalties, and free kicks and take all the throw ins and add to his records. It doesn't matter if he falls apart defensively against Celtic or at the business end when the pressure is on against diddy teams and points are dropped through mainly his, and Goldsons defensive errors. None of that matters, don't complain, cheer for it over and over and cheer extra hard when they say 'we will learn lessons.' That is what is expected to be a good bear in some fans eyes. Oh and don't complain about lack of first team ready improvements because 'Rome wasn't built in a day' and fans should understand real management and football is not a videogame. I think Clement is not the man and all he did was he got some new manager bounce when he arrived. At Monaco this happened and he done the same here. He is right about Tav and Goldson these guys have played way too much and have clearly dropped their levels as a result. I dont think theyre finished at the club. They just need players coming in that we can also depend upon and Tav and Goldson can still deliver. Dont get me wrong they are rightly criticised but i wont accept they are completely done yet. Will be more of the same if they keep getting players like Davies, Lawrence, Matondo and Dowell which never stamp their place down or stay fit long enough. We need similar robustness and some better quality to regain success for this team.
Tav and Goldson are done. They have had their day and more than enough chances at silverware. They always fold when the business end comes defensively and against Celtic they have shown over and over they are not good enough defensively. It's alright though because Tav will score some penalties, and free kicks and take all the throw ins and add to his records. It doesn't matter if he falls apart defensively against Celtic or at the business end when the pressure is on against diddy teams and points are dropped through mainly his, and Goldsons defensive errors. None of that matters, don't complain, cheer for it over and over and cheer extra hard when they say 'we will learn lessons.' That is what is expected to be a good bear in some fans eyes. Oh and don't complain about lack of first team ready improvements because 'Rome wasn't built in a day' and fans should understand real management and football is not a videogame. None of us are smart enough to know that without the guidance of our Belgian story writer.
I think Clement is not the man and all he did was he got some new manager bounce when he arrived. At Monaco this happened and he done the same here. I think he will be sacked before Christmas and the board made a huge mistake taking him. I don't think his story will end well. He has achieved nothing against Celtic. He couldn't even win one agaisnt them. I think he thinks he is getting time. Wrong club mate. If you don't win against them you are out on your ear. We shall see how he does, but my feeling is, he is not the man. I don't care if no one likes the truth, I am too old and grumpy to care.
Being grumpy and sacking people is all fine and well but you sack him he’s on a right good redundancy package same as Beale same as Gio. And after all that we’ve still not fixed the problem which is higher up than the Manager.

The club had just heavily backed Michael Beale and it was absolutely obvious that Clement’s summer budget would depend on winning the league and getting that CL money. CL money could still happen but without that guarantee by winning the league it was always going to be a case of selling before we buy. We were never going to be in a position to back Clement again this summer the way Beale was without big money coming into the club. Far too much panic at the moment. We will sell players and Clement will get new guys in. Give it time 🔴⚪️🔵
He is right about Tav and Goldson these guys have played way too much and have clearly dropped their levels as a result. I dont think theyre finished at the club. They just need players coming in that we can also depend upon and Tav and Goldson can still deliver. Dont get me wrong they are rightly criticised but i wont accept they are completely done yet. Will be more of the same if they keep getting players like Davies, Lawrence, Matondo and Dowell which never stamp their place down or stay fit long enough. We need similar robustness and some better quality to regain success for this team.

Tav and Goldson are done. They have had their day and more than enough chances at silverware. They always fold when the business end comes defensively and against Celtic they have shown over and over they are not good enough defensively. Keeping doing the same things and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity. One thing is for sure if they are still here and are first team starters when the window shuts then I am out until the day they leave. Loser groundhog day is incoming with the same rotten core.

The Board have ran their course. We won’t win anything with them in place and it’ll be Manager Merry Go Round for the foreseeable. I don’t think we can call them not Rangers men like some channels are because they certainly ain’t Craig Whyte, Charles Green or Mike Ashley and if we are to say cheerio to them we need to make sure we get the right guys in to replace them but they have been cute over the last few years sacking Managers etc it’s all coming to light now the bigger issues. The contracts, the failing to invest at right times. Watch Celtic they’ve spent next to nothing coz they know we’re in a check mate situation with our finances all they want to be is a few points ahead of us every season we don’t spend neither do they. I can see PC walking if things get too heated this season and it’ll be a shame as he’s a good Manager and he’s kind of outed the board before the blame is tipped his way and I don’t blame him. It’s forcing us down a path where we need youth players from home and abroad. Transfer wise we’re snookered with guys that are ageing and have been weighed and found wanting when it mattered. This whole mentallity we’ve got of if results don’t come we sack the Manager well if that’s the case this season then take the fooking board coz you can bring in Pep but he’ll be useless under the restrictions we’ve got.

A smart answer would have been all players have their price and it's up to us to set and maximise any deals, but until any business is done that shall remain private. I would hope we get £10 million or more, but I honestly would be surprised if any club offers that much. Though we would have to wait and see. It would be great if we got a huge fee for him to put back into the team. I just don't know if it will happen. Ideally the now we would sell Hagi, Lammers, Wright, Tav and Goldson, and maybe Butland if the deals are good for us and then reinvest in the team, rebuilding the defence CB positions mainly and a RB, wings and 10 and striker, but the issue I have is there doesn't seem to be much interest. I think our best bet for moving on is Hagi, but would there be much profit. I honestly don't see many players leaving. They are all too comfortable on the deals they have that most of them know they wouldn't get elsewhere. I think we are stuck with most of them. Butland is an asset but he may not attract as big money as we think we are due. I have a feeling that will be the case.
