Sometimes the answer is right there, you just have to look for it. The awesome 36v LG packs Dont have to be modified to be used. jag35.com/products/36v-2kwh-r...
In lieu of pre-charging, have you considered using XT90S / XT90-S “anti-spark” connectors? The female connector has a unique green marking on them: a green L shape and a small green splotch (looks almost like a circle, technically a shield I think). When you partially insert the connector (just enough to hide the shield) it closes the circuit but makes the connection (in series) through a small resistor hidden inside the connector
Don't trust a "black box" BMS, do some light reverse engineering, that one is probably not supposed to be charged via the main port, as it appears to not have a set of mosfets to block the inbound current there, that's why it only reduces the intake current instead of blocking it completely. Remember mosfets can only block current in one direction, acting as a diode in the other when they're off.
"today i'm gonna look kind of dumb but i mean what's new right" HAHAHAHAHAHAHA sounds much better than when i say about myself "tengo cara de Menso" this video reminded me of splicing the green and grey wire together from a Desktop PC Power Supply to bypass the On/Off switch or testing the power supply with a paper clip by connecting pin 16 and pin 17 on from 24-pin cable Your PCB's are not gone to waste. you did something *remarkable* i love that others share their discoveries for example: when power tool batteries go into sleep mode, won't charge because one over drained the battery. *Keep Up The Good Work Jehu*
The rule of thumb in the electrical industry is the rule of 80%. Everything in the NEC and UL certifications state that everything cant exceed 80% of what any conductor is rated for. So if you have a fuse rated at 80 amps, 64 should be the max current sustainable at 100% duty cycle. Be aware that several Amazon sellers sell fuses not sustainable on stated fuse ratings. Buy circuit protection from reputable sources.
One qoustion 🙋 Grid tie inverter can connect with common high frequency non hybrid inverter. ? Any way to do that ? My barriers are small I want to run fridge on day time any way ? Thank you if you get time to make video about that Best regards from Philippines 🇵🇭☕☕☕
Why don’t you just provide color diagrams and/ or schematics? I have a bms setup that I bought from you a couple of years ago that just sits there daring me to try to find your instructional video or try my luck and f..k up. From now on.. plug and play is the only way for me anyway. I can’t stand looking at all this electronic clutter messing with my head.( now back to rolling coal in my good ol’ Dodge truck!🤠)It’s like the hand is quicker than the eye short change magician type thing if you know what I mean… yup!
Hey I am looking to build a 13s7p battery setup with Samsung 40-t cells using a xt-90 as the connector. I am looking to use this as an e-bike battery as well as a portable power station for small appliance like a panini maker (1500-1800w) Can a xt-90 handle this type of current? How many amps do I need my nickel strips to carry for an application like this? This is my 4th build just expanding in a new area that I need a little help with. Thanks 😊
I put two of these in series to do 72 volts for an electric vespa style scooter.

I need that big headway bank on the floor 😁
I think the thinner red and black are for charging
Thanks for sharing even though you where embarrassed
Maybe these BMS PCBs will be your best seller in the future. Never know what originates out of a mistake!!

Would be cool if you could test max discharge current rise the current till something happens
I posted the instructions on a previous video.

Blue sea is a great brand by Amazon I think. There are 1:1 knock offs that have the same issues as the cheap ones so stick with original.
i want 1 for my bike but its an unimportant project atm
What inverter is that?
Is the original BMS rated for a series connection? What are the MOSFET ratings?

Whats the maximum series voltage rating of the BMS?

What is the max that they put out of them.
You may be able to just put a led in the connector that you cut off. It looked like a thermistor connector.
No it's not a thermistor connector.
Hey do you still sell buss bars for headway cells?
Everyday
@jehugarcia ok cool. I will be ordering soon
How much is this battery?

maaaannnnnnn give me a discount on it im the ebay guy
Why 300? if bhookup had them for a little more than 1/2
because theirs were old degraded packs, these are unused
Since you mentioned it.... It's your Mirror Glasses that are dumb
