The mystery boat looks like a Topaz
Pretty sure it is a 37’ Topaz late 80’s to mid 90’s. My brother in law was NJ dealer for them at 2 NJ marinas. GREAT BOATS!

I had to cringe with the Sea Ray coming in with the full enclosure zipped up and a big following sea. I remember about 15+yrs ago, a family coming into an inlet (can't remember which one), but the following seas were big and the capt broached the boat and went upside down with the family inside and could not get out. I don't remember how many were lost, but after that it always stuck with me that you need to have an escape way if you go upside down. at least unzip that back or something!
? In the USA, are there no laws regarding the wearing of life jackets off shore. In Australia, enclosed waters are fine but off shore it's compulsory, the Coast Guard and MSB fine u, and so they should.
