  • New! Finally, I have got the review of the Honda Odyssey up for all to see. This is my mum's new car and so far, the car suits the family just fine. In the first bit, I mention the number of subscribers as being less than fifty and it has certainly jumped up since then. Thanks for all of the support!

    Thanks for the video! You did a great job going over the features. I've made my choice on which minivan to haul around my kiddos

    I have the 2011 Honda Odyssey EX and Love the refinements since my 2007 model,
    BUT, and a BIG, which you will all discover soon... is that Honda did NOT RESOLVE the Front Brakes Issue that has plagued this Heavy little Van!
    I am on the Road all day every day, and as a result, have 34,000 miles on my 2011 that I purchased 4-1/2 months ago

    @rjayender I'm glad that I could help!

    @stpierrewm I found that out literally just after I uploaded the video. Folding those back seats like I did as well as folding the captains' chairs down does allow you to put a 4X6 sheet of plywood in the car without removing the middle row of seats. Also, the only time you would fold those down would be when you are carrying something huge. But, thanks for the comment!

    Great review, but you should realize that when the back seats are up, if you pull back on the long strap on the back of the seats, you can fold the whole thing into the deep well. Doing what you showed gets you...nowhere.

    @BIGWes1028 I agree, the Mercedes E420 that I am used to, when parked next to a Genesis, does look very similar, which is just embarrassing. Thanks for watching, though.

    @hometechnc Thanks for the comments. We still haven't had these problems, but I'll keep my eye out. Thanks again!

    @sideslide23 Once you've lived with the display for just a short while, it becomes very easy to use. Enjoy the car!

    @thetechfixer My mum really wanted it, so she got it!

    So, BE WARNED... if you feel any amount of "shimmy" or "vibration" out of your front-end when you brake... especially when you first start to brake at highway speeds, then immediately take it your Dealer. The warranty on Brakes is only the first 12,000 miles, but you can probably get service after this since it has now become a widely-known issue!

    @colt459595 I agree, but it's not a bad driving car.

    My 2011 Odyssey is going in for it's third, Front-Brake Job! .... The Front Rotors were replaced at 11,800 miles, then the new ones were turned at 23,500 miles, and now, at 34,000 miles, the Front Brake Rotors and Pads will be replaced.
    And... and... the Front Struts have gone bad. I have owned a lot of new cars in my Life, but never, ever had to do any kind of brake work on any of them, before 50,000 miles... let alone THREE BRAKE JOBS in 34,000 Miles!
