- In this video we will have a closer look at the mandelbrot bulbs. We will uncover some of their beautiful patterns and connections with other mandelbrot related entities like the number of accumulation points, the antennas, the boundary of the main cardioid or the julia set.
The last journey is the Fibonacci sequence in Mandelbrot form.
nice observation 👍
EVEN THE JULIA SET IS HERE
Cool
Yes cool indeed 😎, i was mindblown when i first heard of these connections.
The main cardiod orbits have one limiting point. The main left bulb has two. The top and bottom ones have 3. The largest between main left and main top has five. That is 5=2+3. And the top was 3=1+2 (cardiod+main left). So this looks like the Fibonacci sequence. Indeed you show the bulbs with 8, 13, 21.
Nice observation!
@@stromwender7092 Yes...Fibonacci. But why does this happen? Has someone managed to prove this must be so, or does this just sit there magically like a primeordial Platonic form? I have a feeling very deep mathematical truths are all embedded in the Mandelbrot set. I know pi appears as well and I bet Eulers number is in there also.

WHY IS RANNI THE WITCH TEACHING ME MANDELBROTS
I guess the moon is not the only thing ranni has a thing for.
@@stromwender7092so the mandelbrot set is even smaller that the plank leght
@@robertnesta23 there is no lower bound on the size of the bulbs. So if you put a meter scale on the complex plane, then there are indeed bulbs smaller than planck length. 🔬
