- A quick visit to a fiber glass factory and a carbon fiber factory in Shenzhen, China. Turns out, they make all sorts of stuff out of fiberglass and carbon fiber, from larger than life creepy cartoon characters to horse saddles, to hockey sticks.

Don't you just hate it when that happens? Like, it happened to me today too. Wanted to go grocery shopping but nope, accidentally went to a hockey stick factory in China.
lmao :D

lol
I'm bad with directions as well. Hell, that's how I ended up in Tennessee, and I still haven't found my way back out.
Great experience, it's correct there are almost no factory just make hockey stick, they should have other products, like carbon bike frame, wheel etc.even BIG brand's official factory they also make other goods like filed hockey stick, lacrosse stick etc.
these China factory tours are fascinating, it gives people some perspective on how literally everything they own is made . KEEP THIS UP PLEASE 👍
Awesome, really glad to hear you're enjoying them. I definitely plan to continue doing these. I really enjoy them, and there's tons of cool factories to see, both in China, and all over the world.
Laptop making factories please
Just a quick little in-between-isode factory visit to tide you guys over. More coming soon!
Also - thank you guys so much for all your suggestions on the last video on factories to visit. Some really great suggestions in there, and I'm already working on lining some of those up. Keep them coming!
Strange Parts nice one
Please share the contact information of those places so that people who want to get stuff built know where to ask...
Daban Sadiq when you are interested why the note 7 became a grande watch the final error analysis conference it is very interesting it takes about 1h.
Renewable energy factories please, solar panel, wind turbines etc
Hey boss I play hockey can u hook me up with some hockey sticks I shoot left I’m 6ft
The workbench with suction holes in is generally called a down draft table, they are used to capture the dust from things like sanding as close as possible to the source.
Go somewhere related with AliExpress or Alibaba. It will be fun!
Yessss
Yes! He should find where AliExpress sellers are and the process of receiving an order from a customer to shipping it out.
Aun Raza I worked in place that did exactly that, and it was not fun at all. It's exactly as you'd imagine. Tons of computers, boxes and factory samples littering every surface around the office. I think he should try to visit the Alibaba HQ up north, or go check Jingdong's drone delivery system.
They don’t manufacture, they are distributors like Amazon.
2042Third Amazon sells their own things as well.
You can't imagine how much I love your videos, adventure and experience. Thank you for sharing your 'geeky' journey with us. Cheers
I love this stuff, I'm particularly fond of when you get someone kind of in-charge (or at least in charge of you) and they're proud to show off the factory.
Also those downward vents, great idea. All of these "eh didn't think of that" moments is what I live for.
LCD factory!
I Like Planes this is many security
I love these! It's wonderful to get a glimpse behind closed doors, and really humanises the commercial aspect of "made in China" that is often taken for granted. Keep them coming dude!
Having all in one factory, or all processes in the *same industrial park,* does reduce such kind of issues.
Aaaahh yes. Another excellent video. Thanks again man. Loving these factory tours. As an industrial designer who sends products overseas to be produced it's nice to see a spread of the other suppliers around. Loved the last video on 3d printed parts and love this one.
Loved them all actually. Keep crankin.
Thanks so much for the tour videos. I love these! Always love seeing "How It's Made" style videos!
i'm absolutely loving this kind of content, plz do more!!
I honestly just love your videos. Every video is interesting and actually gives me the incentive to watch the entire thing. Your editing is always nice and your projects are always so cool. Thanks so much for sharing your adventures with us!!!
Absolutely love this channel
Would love to see more of these factory videos. Keep up the great work!
This factory tour series is amazing, please do a lot more ! How about a CNC machine making factory?
Your videos are my favorite, I always watch them when they come up. Keep up the good work!
Thankyou for the video Scotty!
I'd love to see the actual layering and production they use for making hockey sticks. They have to stand up to an incredible amount of flex when played at a high level and I've always been impressed with their design.
on Tuesdays, i have about 12 hours of class. videos like these keep excited to learn on these long days. props
Love the videos! Especially this new ones showing Factorys and stuff related. Keep the good content!
I love the idea of going to Shenzhen and having something absolutely bizzarre made. I wonder if one could make a tourism package around that, a bit like trophy hunting safaris, except you come home with an exotic device of some kind instead.
The videos are so frequent now! I LOVE IT
Loved the episode!! Keep up the good work
Keep up the good work man. You're a joy to watch
Finally new video! Great stuff, keep it up.
Yes please more of these random tech factories and shops and markets and things.
i love these factory visits
I haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but I'm excited! I'd still Love a Tennis Racquet factory though!
I'm about 90% sure I bought a bunch of hockey sticks from the company you visited. They made decent sticks for a lot less than the retail ones here in the states. For instance, a new Bauer Vapor 1x runs around $300.00 PER STICK. I got two carbon fiber sticks with the length, flex, curve and type of carbon fiber (12K or 15K) I wanted for $179.00 which includes shipping. They're not the most durable sticks (my first one lasted around 8 months, playing 3-4 times a week), but for a fraction of the cost, they're a total steal for the performance you get out of them.
Email me the company info o need to buy a couple jjgisjjg@gmail.com
Love your videos Scotty, always interesting and informative!
love your videos man. always both entertaining and super interesting
I've done this exact sorta work here in the states. Except the places I've worked at make installations for theme parks, set pieces for film, and E3 booths.
loving the regular uploads!
Love the factory visits.
Brilliant material, I would never have seen through this manufacturing plant process if it wasn't because of you. Thanks!
Love the upload schedule ! keep it up man
I love ur content man. Thanks for this quality.
Dude these videos are actually so cool
I love Sasha! More of him with you!

Much much love from Korea!!! Keep doing what you do cause you're awesome!!!!!
You need to do a series called "Accidentally went to (...) in China"
Visiting factories, workshops, stores, or any random places associated with manufacturing process.
Looking forward to your next "accidental" visits!
This series is great.. Literally any factories in china would be cool to see!
As an engineer i'm always curious on how stuff is made, this channel is gold, Thanks Scotty, cheers from Italy!
You want an idea for a factory to visit? ALL THAT YOU LET YOU IN AND FILM. This is really interesting stuff. Love your vids. Thanks so much!

Hey, love your videos. Thanks for making this one. I am on a 12 hour bus journey to college and super bored.
It would be great to see more phone/other electronics videos. I just love to see all of the places in the markets where you can buy all of these strange things.
Awesome once again!
Appreciate your videos showing manufacturing in China. Very interesting.
Love your videos man! I would really like to see more of those phone customisation videos :D the CNC and laser video were SOOO good and interesting :) but do whatever you want, it is always super interesting and facinating the stuff you make videos on :)
Amazing idea, it would be nice if you go somewhere they produce tech garments, please keep this serie of factory tours!
Ive been to an LED factory in SZ it was quite interesting to learn how they actually are made...
John LiquidCoke led factory requried no duest ,so they will not aollow it,but led lamp factory will be easy
you mean dust right ? Actually you can go inside.... you have to wear overalls etc and a hair-net but its not like NASA....... i found it cool anyway to learn how the LED actually works and whats inside them under a microscope !
Radio factory would be cool. China makes cheap amateur radios that sell a lot here in the US. Baofeng and Wouxun are common brands. I love your videos!
Thank you for another interesting factory tour video.
This is quickly becoming the best channel on CZcams.
These factory tours are great, is it possible for you to go to a transistor/chip factory next, it would be really cool!
I don't know how hard it would be, but I'd love to see the inside of an integrated circuit manufacturer. I love these facory tours keep it up :)
I'd love to see a PC case factory or basically any PC part factory (could be fans, coolers, RGB stuff etc). Keep up the good work, I only just discovered you via Linus and am loving your content
From the iphone guy to the hockey factory what a different journey
I'm quickly becoming addicted to this channel.
I think your factory visits are very cool ....I'm a big fan now.
I wanted to see a place (I guess it's in Shenzhen) where they make wrist watches, mechanical, digital, you name it. Thank you for all the amazing content filled with cool places and ideas.
Would be interesting to see places where they are working to resolve the excesses waste produces from these factories. Or the way the factories deal with that themselves, both in an eco-friendly and non-eco friendly way.
Please!!! More factories!!
Every paint booth in every Auto body shop in the world is "downdraft ventilated" that prevents overspray and dust from paint from getting back into the wet paint it's a super common practice
I think a phone or computer factory would be awesome to see!
Great videos btw, I am really enjoying the factory videos
1:02 : those benches in the background, just right of Sasha's shoulder : we've got the exact same at my uni. I wonder if they were manufactured there!
Hey Scotty - I'm over the strait in Taiwan, they're famous for being one of the largest producers of bicycles and bike frames in the world. Would love to see you check out their factories here and see how they compare to China.
I started watching from...how I made my own iPhone...I love your content...keep going!!
Do more videos like this where you explore different factories of Shenzhen, very interesting !!! : - )
