Visage had always been strong. I still remember way back in 2017, he had such a high win rate. It's just that nobody really plays him because of the micro, even tho he is probably the easiest to micro out of the micro heroes.
ehh depends on how do you measure easy. personally i find visage micro a bit harder than arc (just press the same button twice) and chen bcs birds moves a lot faster than than visage himself so its harder to position urself
Nope visage is harder than arc and sylla since familiars move fast af. Need to manage graveskeeper and stun is harder to use. Enemy can get fre gold if u dont manage easily
@@msftynm9600 its pretty much a fire and forget hero. just let you birbs right click your target and deselct them and control your hero. when you need to stun just use the sub ability on visage. i find lone, meepo, chen, arc etc. much much harder. (tough i love playing all of them)
Welp, I have terrible micro skills, but I can play Meepo quite well. He must be the easiest to play around with, just the hardest to keep alive.

Got to 6200 mmr (5400 - 6200) with this and tinker last patch (yes the nerfed tinker) was fun and now i see people picking it after so long.
One of the reason visage is OP in many brackets are ppl rarely met them so they dunno how to counter it. The only counter usually is the one who picks it. It's not that broken but in the right hand it is. Unlike pre-7.21d storm, even people who doesn't really know how to play storm properly can play storm
people just dont buy crimson guard. visage loses like 2/3 of his dmg when its active.
@@MREiermann1000 This. Crimson guard/vanguard/abysall blade are so underrated for what they do. They are great counters for brood, pl, ck, and other illusion based heroes. Everytime i am safelane carry/mid or support against 1 or more of these heroes, and I don't see my offlaner/pos 4 make crimson, I immediately know it'll be a hard game. Ofc there are exceptions, but I'm talking about general rule of thumb here.

I was in a match as Treant and there was a visage player using your guide to break one of our tower in the base while we were ganking a Venomancer, we managed to win because i kept using ult on Visage before he can do any more damage.

Most amazing strat I’ve seen recently is pudge eating blood seeker with his aghs ability. Pudge basically a walking DOT.
i think its better to rush scepter and hex. sure youll deal crazy amounts of dmg but thats not really visages issue. i like to go solar -> scepter -> drums -> hex ->boots o. b. -> ac. solar gives you a slow, an as-buff for a bird, helps you pushing and get the t2 in under 10min in a best case scenario. it helps you melt most heroes that have less than 5 base armor and gives useful stats.

Small detail about your test on dummy target, remember that it has no armor, so the damage you do in real game are inferior, due to people having items

Late game armor is about 50% damage reduction. Even with full Siva guard 6 slot it probably give +- 75% physical damage reduction. Sill can kill 3k HP pudge with in 3 sec

Visage is an mmr booster. I love playing him since it was now easier to stun with familiars because you don't need to select each familiar to stun the hero you are chasing, it's already on Visage's UI.
Try it now. I actually had a high winrate with Solar Crest and bloodthorn
The massive buff for this hero is icefrog allowed us to press D for stun.. and nobody complain about it..

Man I've been trying for a few years now to combo my IO with a Visage familiar in a pub.
But people don't play Visage, and when they do, they don't know how to share unit control, and when they do, we lose the game before I get lvl 25 lol.
Managed to get to 3k attack speed, although as far as I know, there's a cap somewhere, and that 3k was mostly for show.
What does pub mean?

I literally got stomped by a visage while using my best pick for mid which helped me gain 600 mmr in short period. I can't kill him coz of tranquil boots. His high movespeed can roam around the map and go online very fast. Non stop farming heros. I can't even get the little space I need to get the power spike so I can turn the table in an instant which always happen. And then I searched for this, I think I need to learn this hero too. 😂
I surprisingly find playing visage a lot harder than meepo and arc warden, even though micromanaging is more complicated with meepo and aw, the familiars are a lot harder to control in my opinion.
@@rayankhalil4062 enable the shit that lets you issue commands to all units with CTRL, and also bind select all units to something easy to press like C for example, it makes visage be easier to play than fucking wraith king

i have 500 games on visage and this combo exists since more than a year and nobody played it. I was theory crafting luna pos 4 month ago and even have 150 games as pos 4 luna (even without visage in team i got 55% inrate) just to show my buddies its viable ... but everyone refuses to play it with me ;(

I think its bcs of spirits meta. Visage cant catch them for supp also not much of a core that can finish game before outscaled by other carries. He just was not the best hero at the time.
But for pubs, he is great just not as popular.
