I worked for postmates. They no longer hire remote order takers.

Yea to be more specific they just recently underwent a lawsuit where they had to pay out 758k which covered supposed back pay and owed money for time worked to their 1099 remote CSRs. Postmates paid by the call and there are times their CSRs would spend long hours waiting for a call but wouldn't get anything even while waiting in que to receive a call. Since the payout postmates have went overseas where there are less requirements and obligations to pay a fair wage. It was good a good gig on the weekends, but during weekdays you can work long hours with only a few calls which was really unfair.

Hi Melecia, I've been working wit Postmates since July. My largest pay per week has been over $600. I headset is not required. You need a working phone and internet. Most use their cell phone.

Justis Green I got on through Kelly Staffing.. The process is much easier through the staffing but they pay less. You just have to be careful with their questionnaire part of the interview.

I been working with UHaul for a few months and they are a very good company. I just got hired with Working Solutions and start training on December 2nd.
I also sign up for uhaul and working solutions about a week ago. how long did it take you to get hired with them? I work for Alpine Access, but I'm moving to California and Alpine don't have license to hire at home workers in California, so I'm trying to find another at home job before I leave. what should I do to get notice at those companies? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks
+Towania Parker It didn't take long at all for either company. I just finished my two weeks training with Working Solutions and it appears that they will be a good company with work with too. The difference between uhaul and working solutions is that working solutions allows you to make your own after you finish training and you're an considered an independent contract. Uhaul you are an employee. Best Wishes.

not able to get in to postmates tried for an hour but their site is not responding to me at all.
i quit my $18 an hour job and regret losing that paycheck. still not a lot of money but i got to stream youtube all day as i photoshopped. it wasn't going anywhere so i quit.
the graphic design field is really tough. it doesn't pay well, highly competitive and demanding. you have to be creative and precise nonstop. everything you do is scrutinized. also you can't choose your coworkers so you can get really unlucky sometimes.
so now i'm brainstorming my options. i got a merchandising job with Crossmark with pays $11 and part time but very easy job. i've done merchandising in the past. i also paint landscapes and trying to figure out a style that will sell consistenly. Saatchi is good for selling art.
