  • Calling Turkeys is a challenging and rewarding venture. It is full of mishaps, blunders, learning experiences, and of course the occasional victory. The gobbler more often than not wins the bout. How a gobbler can so easily slip through our fingers and evade us time and time can just blow your mind. The fighting purr is a very effective call to understand and use for a few reasons as it can largely keep that window of opportunity open for just a touch longer in those final moments before its all over.
Listen in as Edward shares some insight about why the fighting purr is effective and how to produce the call with a mouth call.

Oh my goodness, the gentleman that said Turkey hunting is easy? He had a Master Caller with him! I have deer hunted all my life and since I switched to turkey hunting and the skills required has been astounding to me. I would venture to say that man going out in the woods on his own has learned he experienced a once in a lifetime experience. I really wished more video’s showed as you did a close up of how you use your tongue in tandem with lips, great for us beginners. And the introduction story was priceless! Hope in near future you video a turkey coming to you and the different calls you make. Thanks from a beginner.
