I love how open they’re as they talk about hard times. They’re truly strong and I wish nothing more for all North Koreans to find peace and happiness.

Romania and Moldova were one nation before ussr occupied Moldova from Romania, right now Moldova has democratic government which supports good relations with Romania, Moldovian government wants to unite with Romania in the future as one nation again

Of course it depends on what "a better and more comfortable life" means.
People can also be happy with the little they got.
It is just freaking heartbreaking when people like the North Koreans get SO little and are ripped off their basic human rights.
I have read in the book "Nothing to envy" that there might even be people in North Korea really happy with their life there (especially when they have less to do with hunger for example). But what does it matter when they can be locked up or executed at any time just because a relative of theirs said a wrong thing or tried to cross the borders?
About these illegal movies and shows smuggled into NK: I find it cool that this exists there. Not to make the people there jealous but to make aware at least that their constrictive, hard way of life full of deprivation is not that common around them.

My heart goes out to the North Korean people both living in the DPRK and the brave few who have managed to escape. I can't imagine the hardships these 4 men and women have had to deal with on their journey for a better life. Much love to all.

I see a certain innocence in these people. One thing living in North Korea did for them is give them an appreciation for what they have now. That’s something special a lot of us who grew up in a free society don’t get because we are so used to things on demand. I wish them well.
