We had one that pulled our board edger. The 6-71 on the head saw, the 4-71 on the chipper, and the 3-71 on the edger all going at the same time sounded amazing.
My first job was at a little factory Arrow Manufacturing made a concrete breaker that worked by haling a 2000 lb weight 12’’ up some leads and then dropping it on a small head it used two engines a straight six by international or this gmc I was the final test guy and the international was a joke no balls at all the gmc was great all city’s bought the six because it was more average so they could relate better
This is a beautiful model from Detroit! What is the starter motor model? I'm putting this same engine in an F1000 here in Brazil, I believe that this starter you put is lighter! Thanks.
The blower can only produce a max of about 6 or 7 PSI of airbox pressure at full speed and full load. It won't produce any "boost" in the cylinders, since the exhaust valves don't close until after the intake ports have closed. The blower is only used for scavenging purposes, similar to how a 2-stoke gas engine uses crankcase pressure for scavenging.
@@adampavick7007isn't that half ATM? At the compression time, I mean between BDC and TDC, both valves stay closed like 4 stroke. Am I right? It does have intake and exhaust valves? or doesn't?

What sounded like full speed turned out to be idling 😀 Great engine!
Nice! That thing looks damn near fresh off the assembly line!
runs very nicely! Love it.
Nice i like how loud the blower is
@@charlesangell_bulmtl no it was rebuilt if you read the owners comment you can see more info about it

Where on that engine can I put a block heater in it. I have one and is very hard to start in cold weather Alberta Canada
Take a video
Either on the water pump inlet, or use an oil pan heater. Better choice.
he does place it on his truck

E cabe esse motor numa F1000? Se sim, seria incrível você fazer um vídeo dela ligando!
Well that’s a departure from the typical Deutz power. Nice little engine though, looks new out of a crate.
It has some hours on it, but I rebuilt the blower, replaced some parts, cleaned it up, and painted it. It's going in my F250.
Can you make a two stroke propane engine light that
Did you restore this I have a 3-71 in my dredge that I need to have rebuilt
How much power does it have?
Around 100 HP at 2100 RPM, and 300 Ft. Lbs.
@@adampavick7007 Pretty good for 3 cylinder.
@@thejafuu5001 being its two cycle it's just like having a six cylinder 4 stroke
& jeep ?
Is the engine for sale ?
Does anyone know how many pounds the supercharger 371 and 471 gives?
