Ashley, it sounds like it is all about you and not the baby. Dawson deserves the best, no? Breastfeeding is far superior not just nutritionally but also the bonding process. Also, breastfeeding is so freeing as the temperature of the milk is always perfect and readily available so that you can be anywhere and not have to be concerned with sterilizing bottles and heating up formula.
Please read Lactivism by Courtney Jung. You might be surprised how wrong you are. By the way the author breast fed both her children for years, she just used science and facts to detail why formula feeding is a great alternative.
Don’t think you can speak to how a parent bonds with a child.
I don’t normally comment on negative comments but this one was so outrageous I had to make time today!
Are you a doctor? Who said breastfeeding is far more superior than formula feeding? If formula was so awful it would not be sold on shelves for newborns to ingest and also would not be given to babies at hospitals.
To think that bottle feeding isn’t a way to bond with your baby, is very ignorant. My baby is formula fed and my son and I have the most perfect bond. To add, he is also very healthy, happy, and smart.
Also, I don’t think you are educated enough to know that there are many reasons on why women do not breastfeed their babies, and those reasons should not have to be explained to anyone, including ignorant people like you.
She dont talk about the baby only about how hard everything is!
