    Is it a private act for a public figure running for President of the USA to question the validity of an election fraught with last minute arguably (as state constitutional laws were abrogated) construed as illegal by his voting constituents? Isn't it the candidates right and responsibility to put forth an alternative slate of electors to defend the rights of his voters? Is that a public or private act? When Al Gore challenged the Florida vote was he acting personally demanding a fair count? I would argue Gore was acting on behalf of his constituents. Cases like Pennsylvania where the States constitutional rules were broken were construed by Trump voters to be illegal at worst. Isnt it an official capacity to demand free and fair elections if you are President and as a candidate?

    • @jasonm1827
      @jasonm1827 Před 12 dny

    The judges are not even quoting the constitution and what it says about a president who has committed crimes and that he should be prosecuted for his crimes after leaving office. The constitution does not say anything about a president being above the law. I’m just saying that the judges are not above the constitution that they have sworn an oath to protect the constitution and the laws that are in place period. They can’t give diaper rash immunity from being prosecuted or anything else. And these judges who have been bought by the republicans are not very smart about this immunity issue because diaper bag could have one of them have an accident or something if he was not happy with the judge. If they were smart they would not have anything to do with this issue and send it back to the appeal courts.

      Positions of immense power need to be held to HIGHER standards and face GREATER consequences for corrupt, criminal activity than the rest of us. That kind of accountability is the only way we keep animals like Trump and the garbage he installed in the SCOTUS from seeking positions of power.
      The sociopaths and narcissists who occupy elected office now should *fear* the additional scrutiny and liability that power brings. Let them hide under their rocks, rather than seek the power to rule over us.
