I have a kid myself so I get to enjoy sledding pretty often, and just got a digital camera for xmas so photography has to go 2nd.

Removing the cap at the end of the sword is for an ethernet cable, to download security updates.
13:49 I think the vertical lines at the bottom of box are the key to tell when to push and when to pull the syringe. May be indicating which obstacle is higher and which one is lower.

I dont do resolutions but if I would say some, I would probably try to more focus on my mental health, lower my stress, keep good mental ballance and just dont give a F about other people opinion about me because that is a big one in my anxiety

That operation box puzzle is insane, super unique for sure. Love the concept!
With that Syringe puzzle, It looks like the red and black dashes might be hints for when to extend the "needle" and when not to. or it's just a coincidence with the two red ones pointing at the start and finish of the puzzle.
As for my New Year's resolution, I'm going to pick up a bunch of bad habits, then when I fail to stick to my resolutions, I'll be good.

A couple of really great puzzles! My new years resolution is going to be getting back into magic and card tricks. Used to be really into it and practicing a lot when I was younger, and miss it. So hoping to practice and improve!

The last puzzle had red and black marks on it, red ones longer. Maybe had something to do with plunging the needle in or not? Might have been a key of some sort

2022 resolution: start doing more puzzle boxes! I just got one for Christmas after watching your channel for a while, and it was SO MUCH FUN!!!!!! ! It took me an hour to solve, but you probably could have done it in 10 minutes.
Every time he exposes a hidden compartment my brain automatically quotes, "you can hide your weed in there." 🤣
My resolution, is to become a pro magician. I started watching magic tutorials last year, & they helped find something I never thought I would be so passionate about. I then got a few books, & have been practicing almost none stop. In a couple months I plan on trying to line up some gigs around my town.
Biggest new years resolution has to be to try and stop taking things for granted... If the last year or two has taught us anything, it's that the things, and people, thay we love can be taken from us at any minute... Tell your people you love them, and enjoy every day

I made my last New Years resolution around 40 years ago, and have kept it to this day. That resolution was, I resolved to never make a New Years resolution again. The only resolution I have ever kept.
You are so lucky to have a computer like that! I got some computer parts from family members over Christmas. Unfortunately I was dumb and ended up ending my computer entirely. Keep up the awesome puzzle work! Always satisfying to watch

I'm so thankful I stumbled on your channel about 8 months ago!!! Christmas is always hard for my family that "doesn't want/has everything!" My 11 year old nephew just wanted donations to charities in his name! (We don't deserve children) So I bought a puzzle box and put the print out of the donation to St. Jude's children's hospital in the box! He loved it so much! Thank you again for all you do!

I downloaded the Escape Simulator because I SAW you'd made a video about it. Without even watching, i checked it out, because dude, it's actually a pretty great sim game AND has community generated content for loads of 'room' options. That's so great. And from playing around with it a bit, the interface is good and intuitive, AND I don't need a supercomputer to play it :D

one tip to achieve your new years resolutions is to keep them simple and concrete. so instead of something vague like "get in shape", you can say "do 10 minutes of sport every second day". this is simple and concrete but will eventually accumulate to a better shape. cheers.
The sword puzzle is officially my favorite Karakuri Puzzle.
Mine is to never ever have one again because I would rather set my goals small and overshoot that to make them big and underdeliver

So I learned the other day that the signature is called a chop. They are made and would normally be made of jade and a red ink is used and each owner of the art work would put their chop on the art work. This allowed you to see how many people owned it.
My resolutions are to figure out who I am and what I like. I spent the last 20 years doing things for my kids, which I wouldn't change for the world, but now it's time to focus on me. That book is done and it's time to start a new one. I'm going to try 1 new hobby/activity a month (maybe more) and figure it out. I'm also going to make a conscious effort to try things out of my comfort zone. If the last 2 years have taught me anything, it's that life is too short to make excuses for why you can't.

The black and red dashes at the bottom looks like the answer for getting through each gate. Long red are for deep gates and short black are not. Just my thoughts. :) Nice puzzles.
Amazing craftsmanship on these ..that whale need to be on the challenge video when you make the boys unlock them I feel like it would drive them nuts
