I do enjoy you sorting out the Ecuadorean stories in the news, Mike. Keep it up! I acknowledge that you're keeping things balanced with how beautiful EC is how wonderful the people are how yummy the food is etc etc. Thank you.

Very nice resume of the news. Very informative. Hopefully you can post something about the Mexico Ecuador issue. Thanks
Yes. We are in Mindo right now. Almost did a breaking news lol. But I think I will wait a few more days. Life is never boring. Take care.
My wife and I will be in Cuenca the first half June for an exploratory. Thank you for the updates and info.

Thank you for the effort you put into research and reporting; great job and so appreciated!
Regarding the IMF vs China loans; I can see that Noboa's administration needs funds to fight the drug cartels and stop them from controlling Ecuador. However, both China and the West are attempting to continue to rob the people of Ecuador with these usurious loans. If only Ecuador could create a currency of its own backed by the gold, oil and other natural resources it posseses. Then perhaps it would finally be able to rise out of international debt slavery and raise the standard of living of its citizens. This is the true answer.
Thanks for watching and sharing your views. Cheers
I notice it was low throughout the Presidency of Correa and it's skyrocketed since he left.
Some say Correa had deals with the cartels. He legalized one of them. Lol
Good info, Mike. Thank you for putting all of this together!
@@KrisandMike "some say"!! My only response there is !please produce your evidence!" Whenever the US manages to get rid of a leader who wont bow to them, and put a puppet in for themselves, the first thing they do is start to smear and denigrate the unwanted guy. I dont take any notice of gossip, either show the evidence or I just look at other evidence. I came here when Correa was President, and I've watched what has happened since he obeyed the Constitution and left. Ecuador has gone downhill as those homicide figures show.

Hi Mike, I'm coming to montanita in 10 days, should I get the dengue vaccine before I come?
I am not an expert. I would go to a travel clinic and see. Thanks for watching. Most people don't have it here tho.
Thanks for your videos Mike.
Taking loans from or dealing with China is bad? 🤣
They have a bad record of putting African countries into huge debtloads and south America as well. Terrible terms.
