So what are the rules on loops, cuz i went on fightcade and got hit by 3 different dio loops with 3 reps in one combo by edel x and i fuckin DIED

In tournaments I believe it’s hard capped at 3 loop reps,
in casual games, there is no such rule but it’s just something most players tend to do either out of respect or just habit

Loop reps are usually only considered for special inputs such as 214a/b/c, 236a/b/c or other specials, loopable normals sometimes are exempt from the rep rule.
Any special by itself can be utilized 3 times per combo within tournament rules, so its 3 maximum reps per loop not 3 maximum loops only.
