      MOR Designs I’ve been bullet journaling for a few years but just recently started getting interested in doing it digitally. Have dabbled in trying to create one but haven’t achieved the ultimate journal as of yet. Also, Keynote on the iPad does not allow rotating text. Wish this would change.

    You are awesome! I was surprised that I could find such training and not be charged! I followed right along watching on my iPad as I was doing the exact same thing on my MacBook. (I did have to keep pausing and rewinding because you are so fast. I’m not complaining because I’m very appreciative of what you are doing). When I hit play to see if the links worked, the fingerpoint to click was at very bottom of the tab. I did add a few more tabs but wasn’t sure if this mattered once it was imported to GoodNotes.

    New to digital planning and iPad, Windows girl here, but managed to absorb a lot and put out my first planner in under a month. That's not without issues. The only way I could rotate text was tap, hold and to physically rotate my iPad. Haven't been able to group anything, so guess who had to link every instance individually on each slide? And, even though I created my slides in the 4:3 ratio, when I imported them into GoodNotes the planner was over-sized and half my tabs were invisible. Really struggled to get this corrected and for whatever reason, my first slide still isn't perfect. BUT, yes, I'm having a great time!
    Do have a question. does the master slide have to be the first slide, I'm guessing not. My planner layout preference is with the planner open and a pocket (No tabs) on the left side of the first page. Had I been aware of this, it certainly would have helped with the linking issue I experienced. Thanks. Hope you enjoyed my planning woes!

    • @MORDesigns
      @MORDesigns  Před 4 lety

      It sounds like you are building it on the iPad... I give you major props! I find it so much harder to build a planner on an iPad. I have been trying to master making a planner on my iPad so that I can make a video, it is not easy! Since you are a windows girl you can do this on PowerPoint if you get too frustrated!
      You can absolutely have different slides for your first few slides! I often create a slide that looks like a cover for my first page. Then my second page is different too because I will only have paper on the right side. So I don't usually use my master slide until slide 3.
      Best of luck as you dive into your first planner! I would love to see what you come up with! Feel free to find me on Instagram!

    • @MORDesigns
      @MORDesigns  Před 3 lety

      Not a simple answer depends what format it is and what you are using. If it is a simple single picture format insert on its own you insert it like you would a sticker. Which can be a pain because that moves once you work on it. If it is an entire page you would insert it as a new page in GoodNotes. I actually have a video coming out this weekend (hopefully) about making a digital notebook and how to insert and make blank pages.

      Suzanne Maldonado how to turn text?!? Do tell!!

    • @SuzanneMaldonado
      @SuzanneMaldonado Před 4 lety +2

      @@MORDesigns I just figured it out. What you do is when you get your text box, make it kind of long, put your text in it than with one finger on one end and one finger on the other end turn it, then you can resize it back to where you want it and move it to the tab.

    • @MORDesigns
      @MORDesigns  Před 4 lety

      The master slide is essentially a template. You have to make sure that you create it you then add that template to the actual document. Check out around 7:00

  • @viridianacabreraasaf1977

    Just wanted clarification. For the size of the slides
    Width - 1200 pts
    Height - 1024 pts
    Correct? (: Thank you!

    Can we print this planner as a pdf file?

    • @MORDesigns
      @MORDesigns  Před 3 lety

      Yes- once it is exported as a PDF you can treat it like any other PDF and print, email, you name it. Also you can export goodnotes as a pdf so you can save all your stickers notes and decorations.

    • @MORDesigns
      @MORDesigns  Před 4 lety

      I plan to do a video on this in the future. You need add to create a new listing then make it a digital listing. When you change it to digital it will prompt you at the end to upload your instant download for customers. This is great because then you never have to touch it again everyone just gets what you listed!

      MOR Designs from GoodNotes do you export it to like Dropbox as a pdf or GoodNotes pdf? I don’t know if I use the GoodNotes pdf on Etsy if everyone will be able to open it

    • @MORDesigns
      @MORDesigns  Před 4 lety

      Aaliyahbertral I just upload my planner as a pdf right from keynote. PDFs can then be used on multiple platforms. If you have stickers in it then you have to export from goodnotes.
