- Celtic completed a domestic treble without losing a game in any domestic competition thanks to Tom Rogic with a moment of magic to secure the Scottish Cup 2016-17.
Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic crowned an incredible year by winning their first treble since 2001 in the week where Celtic celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Lisbon Lions triumph of 1967.
The Celtic fans had to wait until the 91st minute for the win to be secured after being pushed all the way by a determined Aberdeen team who came flying out the starting blocks and opened the scoring.
Stuart Armstrong hit back with an equaliser immediately and after a game which swung like a pendulum, Tom Rogic went on a marauding run and slotted the ball home at Joe Lewis’ near post. - Sport

Watching this back brings a tear to my eye, heartbreaking for every Aberdeen fan.
Your team couldn't have tried any harder. Aberdeen were the better team in the first half and should have been ahead at half time. Celtic responded by playing to their full potential in the second half which earned them the win. Aberdeen's performance that day would be good enough to win most of the time. The dons were just unlucky to come up against a Celtic team that played so well they were invincible that season.

I love how the Aussies follow everything Tom does. No matter which Aussie i speak to online they all know of Tom and Celtic. He never usually celebrates a goal as mad as he did with this goal as he looks like a quiet composed lad. I do hope we can keep him at Celtic for years to come. Why would a player want to go elsewhere ? Money and if thats the case then they aint wanted at Celtic if its all about the money because they will regret leaving. So many with the exception of Henrik and a couple of others have all regretted leaving their beloved Celtic.
We all love to follow the progress of our best Aussie players, Rogic and Aaron Mooy would be my favourite. I have noticed he never really celebrates but some players don't celebrate like crazy but anyone would if u scored the winning goal. Rogic shouldn't leave anytime soon and whenever he does leave it will be once he's served his time at Celtic. He's a great player and shows how good Australian players can be :)

1967 im sure youll agree was the best. They won EVERYTHING. Super cup. Glasgow cup and 4 others. Dont think this current Celtic team could have done what they did in 67 but still a superb season and the best since ive been alive.

In 67 every single team in the league was superb. Kilmarnock and teams like Hibs. Even Sevco were winning more trophies than Celtic in the 60s. Celtic hadnt won the league in 10 years. Wasnt till 66 that Jock Steins style of football destroyed everything and won every trophy including the Intercontinental trophy which is like the super cup.Playing top teams of south America.. 6 trophies won that season. Dont get me wrong what Celtic did this season has been fantastic but i cant compare it to 67.That feat will never be repeated.

Why ? Thought the ref was spot on yesterday. Missed the KT elbow but thats not his fault. His "Play on" instead of stopping for free kicks got us the first Celtic goal. Hes the best ref we have IMO.
I didn't think Madden was at all bad, Stockley incident aside. As has been discussed elsewhere, the assistant referee could have helped Madden out. Never mind. Tierney will recover, Celtic completed their mission, Madden will probably officiate the big matches next season better than most other referees. Life goes on.
