Vivek is the hope I needed just to be alive. My kids born as Tamils, will not experience the horrors I had been through whole my life. To name a few, 50 years of bitter racism, pogroms, riots, refugee boat rides, burnt down homes, hiding in jungles, cuts, chops and broken bones, statelessness, disappearing adults, burnt and buried alive fellow Tamils and mere misery. All for just being born as Tamils who didn't matter much to world powers. Saddest part is, all the above were perpetrated by the state, monks, soldiers and mobs as proxy for a regional super power, as a tool to oppress and subjugate the 120 million strong Tamil voices. No other human being should go through what Tamils do in South Asia last 75 years.

So if our country must return to GOD... It must be clear about which One that is.
