Scott, I grew up learning new techniques to catch bass from your Dad and other greats like him. You, my friend, remind me so much of those weekend morning fishing shows, watching your Dad simplify and explain ways to catch big bass. You are keeping up the tradition. God Bless your incredible family. So much fishing history is owed to the Martins!! Thank you!
SM, you are a hell of a teacher. This is the best dropshot video of all the ones I've seen. Love the channel.
Love your new educational series! Thanks Scott!!!
The perfect learning channel for me
Thanks for making these Scott really like watching them and learning
Thanks Scott!
Thank you Scott for doing this video. I have never tried drop shot before because I was never really sure what to use or how to use it. Your video has now given me the confidence to start using the " Drop Shot " technique and have confidence in using it. Thank You.
My new favorite rig.
Great video! Thanks for sharing!
These videos are so helpful!!!
Thanks for the great advice and great sense of humor Mr. Martin!
I have been waiting for this video for a long time thank you 🙏
Awesome info
I just replaced my old drop-shot rod with a GL and a Sustain. I never thought about casting long and the way the bait is close to the bottom. Great tip!
Great stuff
Very informative and well explained.
Dude I been waiting on this one Scott! Been using drop shot a lot lately and need all the pointers I can get ! Thanks brotha
Awesome video Martin - great enthusiasm!
Thanks for the video can't Wait to try this out
Thanks for this!!!
Great video Scott! Your videos are always very educational and informative and I always watch them when I wanna learn a new technique I havent tried! I will be trying this dropshot rig in a new rock quarry i found here in Florida! Thanks again!
thanks for all the tips Scott would love to see you on the water one day
Thanks for the info Scott 👍
Scott my go to fishing guru! I watched this last night and decided to try it today on lunch break. I dropshat a black trick worm and caught a nice chunky LMB down in the south GA swamp.
Vid was lit Scott keep up the work
Lovin the info!! Thanks
you’re my favorite fisherman, you got me into fishing!!
Thanks scott. That was the best drop shot video I've seen.
You’re right in that fishing is hugely popular right now. Please do a video on fishing rod and don’ts and how not to be an ass. I can not even explain how many times new anglers have ruined the bite, the waters and other peoples gear because they just don’t know.
Love this series!! Thank you.
awesome series scotty mar....
Love the advise and tips. 🙏 thank you
How to catch a little bass... yeah, but I've watched you now for a while. You are having a lot of fun, and I am as well watching your videos. Thanks Scott. I appreciate the tutorial on the knots and placement of the hook in the lure. Everything is at least a refresher for me, and I'm glad I found your channel.
Another great video
Thanks Mr. Martin. I learned something today that I can use.
Those googan boats are the heat! I use them all the time!
Awesome video Scott! Ive been wanting to learn how to use this rig
Thanks for sharing all your tips stay safe 🎣👍👍
Good Video! Thanks for sharing.
Another great video! Really good stuff. U asked about what other styles should u go in depth on, I would love for you to do an in-depth jerk bait one. Thanks Scott!
Awesome video Scott. Nice fish
Great video
Love watching your channel and your Dad's channel. I have become a better fisherman because of videos like this.
Another awesome video like usual! Can't wait to see some more catches on Fish Brain! Keep up the hard work! 👍🐠🤙👌😎🐡🐟🎣
The man, the myth, the legend...Scott martin
Good info especially on worm length for species.
The drop shot is my favorite finesse tactic. I find myself Texas rigging a senko a lot lately
That drag drop drop shot is what I've been fishing all summer been catching fish on the googan drag-and-drop.
Can't get enough of it but it's all sold out in the stores around me
Love all the videos Scott! Happy to see your family getting into the bizz! Moving down to the south GA area and excited to get back into the swamps catching them donkeys!
Thank you for all your info and you videos.. I am a 63 year old newbi.. kayak fishing.. Again Thank you
Thank you so much now we will see if I can catch some good ones
Hands down my favorite is the BANDITO BUG Blue Baby. The Bug's the drug 👏🔥. Then followed by the Swim Worm. Depending how you fish, you can have all 3 water columns covered with 1 or 2 baits 😊. Those 2 let me pack light for bank fishing times when I carry my stuff from spot to spot around ponds and lakes.
Thanks for the great advice. You make it so easy. Can’t wait to try it out. Hope it catches some Tenkiller bass in Oklahoma
Drop shot. My favorite bait to throw honestly
I’m excited for the new Trokar Axs dropshot with the signature keeper!
Awesome drop shot tutorial! I will try it next week on St Clair!
I love the Googan baits. Never heard of you til I saw the squad interview with each of you debuting their bait. Awesome company. I love the passion you have for the sport.
Another great video going to try the drop shot this weekend if I can go hope you have more videos like this I have actually started writing down your tips so I can keep them on the boat
I like using a chartruce lipless crank. That’s what works best for me at my ponds. I also like using
I've learnt so much from watching all your tip thank you very much. If you ever want to come to South Africa let me know I have great local dams that have huge bass that I can take you to.
Hey brother, I love all of your videos but I’m really loving this series, lm hoping it’ll help get me out of my comfort zone with a lot of baits
Scott, you know out here in Southern California it's all about the drop shot. Yamamoto shade shape my go too.
awesome video man, really liked the weedless style. never thought about doing that with the slim shake worm.
Such a humble man scott Martin if ur ever in indiana in the Newton county area please get in touch would love to fish with a big angler like your self keep the vids coming man
So so Scott who’s getting more views on how to use the baits correctly, you or your pops. Cause I follow both of y’all
Who’s his dad? I want more information lol. Wish these guys fished Canada too.
Devin Metz the one and only. Mr Roland Martin. Should check out his channel
@@bluegillmcgillacutty1603 I loved seeing Rolands boat collection. Awesome channel. A legend.
Thanks Scott cool info love the video definitely sharing this im going to try this just not with googan baits there very costly can't afford them thanks again
Wow Scott, SONNNNNNNNNNNNNN, Lollllll. You and You're Dad are the best. That was a Hog Sonnnn. Smiling here. I appreciate Your tutorials Sir.
Would love to see a video on swim jig techniques
Have not watch vid but I know is gonna be lit
Great explanation on usability. However i don't have good luck with 12lb. Line i was using it with the Rocco got broke off it it was nothing. So i went to 15lb braid again fishing a Rocco in brush had a 6lb. Bass take it & it broke off like nothing. So now using 30lb. Braid. Thanks for sharing.
Yessir biggest smallmouth I've seen were all caught on a dropshot!
My favorite bass bait is a yellow tube
I love fishing dropshots probably my top three favorite rigs but can’t seem to catch Any big ones on them thanks for the tips
Thanks for the vid. I like the spin shot over the drop shot . Thoughts?
Next bait you should do is LiveTargets baitball or notorious pumpkin seed/ blue gill. The baitball i haven’t been able to get them on but the blue gill looks to real to not get bit. Would love to see a review and hear you thoughts. God Bless Scott!
what are things you would suggest throwing on Florida lakes
great teaching and education. Keep it coming!
Do you ever use a swivel to reduce the line twist you get with a spinning reel?
Carolina Rig😤
Hey Scott when is your next bass master tournament. And my favorite bait is zoom junbug lizard 6 inches and and strike king black and blue jig 1/4 oz
Scott, could you add one more part to this video series. New anglers will not know what the bite feels like on different baits. Could you you describe how the bite feels in these videos?
Cannot believe I was not ALREADY subscribed to this channel. What is wrong with me??!!
My big bass Bait is a zoom 8" watermelon lizard or black Screw lock hook weightless
I prefer a 2 aught ewg hook for mine I just feel I get better hook ups and land them better
You should try musky fishing
Re-grow the mullet!
My best bass bait is a fat slammer from x zone the black one....hard to find in montreal
Never thought it was possible till I caught a 7.3 yesterday on a drop shot
Im totally addict To drop shot...thank you scott To share your tricks...for the next vidéo maybe To show me how To walk a frog....i like how you explane your fois teatcher
Scott do you have a garmin electronics setup video? I just recently bought 2 93svUHD's and I am trying to get them dialed in right. LOL....if you want to come to NC and fish shearon harris then you could show me what to look for.
I use 20 lb test trilene big game mono.. 2/0 heavy short shank hook... I caught over 50 bass up to 10 lbs last week... in one day .. on a heavily fished river ... 5 ' visibility...
Have you ever tried the VMC spin shot hooks for drop shot? I have found I like them the best cause they don’t twist my line at all.
I like them for a number of reasons. Mostly I’m a terrible knot tier! They work well, but are a little pricey.
What bibs do you wear?
Couldn't get barely anything in my local lakes..started using the dropshot and instantly started hooking up left and right.
Great video. Scott, can you catch fish off the shore with a drop shot.
i would love a chatter bait how to video
Drop shot is my go to confidence rig. Whether it’s the hot or cold it ever fails to put at least one fish in the boat.
What is your favorite big bass bait?? Share this around to some of your friends to help them catch more bass!
Mine is a spinner bait but that’s all me and my dad use so can’t really say
I like swimbaits!
Try some carp fishing some time! 🎣
I’ve been at the dam using worms caught a 8 pounder on a $140 Walmart pol on 14lb thin braid line
Mine is a 10 in worm on the edge of grass and sipis trees
