Leo, if you get a pup, please, please don’t go through a breeder/pet store! Save a life, ADOPT! It will save both of you. Perhaps go for a pit bull pup...there’s such a stigma to them...it’s not them, it’s the owners. They are one of the most loyal breeds on the planet. Just remember to socialize with other people & animals. Otherwise, he/she will become too protective of you & that’s where the biting starts.

Exactly. And, Leo, I dare you not to fall in love when you see those little kitten eyes looking up @ you with such trust. Also, they’re independent. You don’t have to walk them (although you could), there are automatic feeders if you want to take off for a couple of days...no boarding. But, whichever way you decide to go...PLEASE get them fixed! Men, in general...&, with dogs in particular, hate the idea of neutering their pets. They project their own fears onto the animal. Bottom line, it’s important for health reasons...spaying brings down chances for cancer by half. Plus, it calms & stabilizes their behavior 😉

@@LM-hb6yn that would be false information. I don’t know where you read that, but walk into any random veterinary hospital & tell them that 😏 As for neutering too young, ending nursing too early...all of that is bad. But, when they’re old enough get them fixed.

Get you a dog!!! I’m partial to a golden retriever but you have to be OK with hair. He will play with me anytime, snuggle with me anytime, mind his own business if I want them to, but always gives me love. Great video!

They do these videos about guys who say they don't like or can't stand , or just are outright terrified by cats. Then the sit them down in a chair, and hand them an adorable, fluffy little kitten. To see their faces turn from horror to mush is hysterical. I'd LOVE to see you in one of those!

It actually wasn't a wolf, but a wolf-dog, his name is Archer, he is high content wolf dog. I follow him and his owner on IG. She actually owns 3 wolf dogs, her other two are low content wolf dogs.
I recommend a Maltese for a small dog. The most loyal and protective dog that's ever owned me.

too many come from puppy mills ,which are like an unimaginably bad concentration camp ,
get a dog from a no kill shelter that never euthanize s dogs ,I say never as in the USA a shelter can euthanise some dogs and still be classified as no kill,
if you could contact the Beagle freedom project as all their dogs were previously lab (experienced live experimentation)victims
But be prepared, they could be carrying terrible suffering, for years after, release ,and you need to be prepared, for it in every way,
If a Beagle becomes psychologically healthier they make a lot!!!!! of noise called baying and they really !!!!!!!!!!need to be with another dog
We had German Shorthair pointers. They were loyal and full of energy. But oh so dumb. Bandit did the spinning thing like you showed, and he got going real fast. He slammed his brain-pan into our truck bumper and knocked himself out cold. "Clank, zzzz"
Knocked his own dumb ass out.. He woke up a half-second later shaking his head all cross-eyed and felt all insulted someone brained him. I was like "dude."
That dog on the rope was just a few biscuits short. It was like a human who sticks their hand in a jar to get something, then can't get it out because it's fisted up on the object. This dog was so determined, but was upset that it's feet were off the ground.

YUP!!! I think that dog wasn't just extremely happy they were home..... her herding instincts kicked in!!!!! Happened to us when we'd start coming up the drive.... our little sheltie would do the same thing all the way up the drive and back to the house or barn! ADORABLE most of the time.... ANNOYING when you're in a hurry!! ;)

I love them, Diablo (4 year old granddaughter calls him bobo) will sit by her side and lean against her wagging his tail.He also loves finger puppets and carries them everywhere. He’s hiding below his favourite blanket next to me snoring.
