i thought the entire tiktok was about spirits 😅 u put the mirror to the sky because mirrors are known to be portals to other dimensions and u cannot have one facing u while u sleep. u put the chair close to the table so u don't think something is hiding underneath the desk, and she took the hat off bcus people have widely confused hats and big piles of clothes as spirits in low light.
what i’m guessing is that she takes down the hat so it doesn’t seem like there’s a person standing there if she wakes up in the middle of the night and it’s dark. it’s happened to me multiple times, i will wake up and see one of my hats hanging and it scares me thinking it’s a person 😭
The hat part is that it could look like a person in the dark so when u move it it doesn’t look like a person
For the one with the blinds/mirror and everything, she puts the chair in so nobody hides under her desk, she closes the blinds so nobody looks through AND if somebody tries to look through they can't see her in the mirror. She also uses the hat to make it look like she lives with her boyfriend even though she's single (allegedly). 👁🗨

what i’ve heard is that it’s bad having a mirror facing you when you’re sleeping because it was just give bad luck and stuff, so maybe that’s why. and i think the hat is so that it doesn’t seem like someone is standing there if she were to wake up in the middle of the night
@@macaroongaming5579 except both those things aren't really "girl problems". I mean, let's be real, a lot of these problems men can also experience, but bad luck and small scares don't even really seem like the type to slip in as gendered.
There's also the fact that MadJaz's explanation links everything cohesively into something that would make sense as a singular video. Having an explanation for each individual thing that is completely unrelated to the others makes it harder to understand and would be a poor choice for somebody creating a video with the intent of being relatable. So I'm inclined to believe the cohesive story.
I thought the hat was being moved because if the woke up and saw it she might think it was a person and might get spooked. Same with the mirror.
For the going to sleep part, tilting the mirror up is so you don't get scared when you're still half asleep and you see your reflection and think its another person in your room. Moving the hat from the door is so your mind doesn't think its the figure of a person in your room.

As someone that suffered from sleep paralysis I can only think that girl moved the chair, mirror and hat so they wouldn't look like people if she wakes up at night...

The pillow between the legs is a common thing not a girl thing. If you're a side sleeper it's recommended to put a pillow there to help the spine during sleep. And the last one I'm pretty sure most people can do

the house thing making noises at night, a lot of people don't know about, is that it technically breathes, as in it expands and contracts, so that creaking you hear is from it quickly adjusting from it's moisture levels. very common for homes that live in climates that fluctuate often. sometimes even from air pressure from during the day to night time levels. I have seen both genders get spooked by it.
Better to put the hair on the wall than let it go down the drain and later have to clean all the hair built up in the drain.

Most of these are relatable 😅 but everyone saying the hair thing in the shower is gross. I think it's worse letting it constantly clog the drain. As long as you take it from the wall and throw it away when your done, ur good.

@@XenFayed I guess it depend on what kinda drain you have? In pretty much every circumstance, the hair will just go right down the drain for me. If you’re talking about pulling the hair out of the drain, that feels like more of a pain, but that’s just my personal preference.

With the chair out, you may think you see someone sitting in it, in a shadowy room.
Only reason I know to do this, is the one that a chair pointed to your bed is inviting ghosts to watch you sleep.

You gather the hair and at the end of your shower, you shower off the wall and floor of your shower, clear your drain and then put your towel on.

Putting the Croc in the microwave is a futile attempt at trying to unshrink it.
You heat up the shrunken Croc, this softens the material which then can be resized.

What about carrying something in case of needing to self defense . Pocket knife, pepper spray, whistle/alarm etc. Many things related to making a choice out of safety that women could have related to. Even telling your friends to call you and look for you if they don't get news from you. Staying close to security cameras when you're out alone or in a metro station and there's sus people around. Pretending to start talking to someone in your home when you come inside and you feel someone following you. Lying that someone is waiting for you when you can't extract yourself from a heavily persistent weird person. Making the choice of not wearing some type of clothes when you go out alone or at night or when you use public transports, parking as close to the door/building and looking around before to come out...the list is too long.

I can understand wanting the hair off you but rinse it off, and then take the clump of hair out of the drain at the end. If you HAVE to wipe it on the wall, rinse the damn wall. I can't stand getting in a shower and discovering a housemate has left their hair all over it.

Check out friction defense by Gold bond. It help with the chapping. I used this evertime I work to keep my legs from getting raw by the end of the night. Even if I forget to use it and my legs end up being raw. It help it to heal and make feel a whole lot better.

I read about a study where they polled office workers about the office temperatures and there was a clear difference between men and women - on average of course - when men thought the temperature was perfect, women thought it was a bit cold. I think the difference is especially pronounced when you're sedentary, like in an office job or sleeping at night.
I mean men do have thicker skin and they have more hairs. Both are isolating and can make it feel warmer. I once shaved my legs (I am a harry man^^) and it felt legit 5°C colder or more.
I'd be interested to see the data broken down by weight. I figured the square/cube law would mean larger creatures (men, adults, overweight people, manatees) would be less affected by cold, but have more trouble getting cool in the heat. Like, bears get bigger and bigger the closer you get to the North Pole.

I didn't get any of this except the pillow between the leg thing. I actually do that and have done it most of my life. I don't remember what started it; however, it helps to avoid lower-back pain....for me at least.
I haven't been that cold in at least 20 years! In fact, I have to have a window open even in the winter time,regardless of how much snow is on the ground.

The obvious action would be to put any loose hair in the trash, for the people who have bathroom trash cans. Apparently, that action wasn't obvious to a lot of women & to men with long hair. Short haired & bald dudes don't have that issue.

I'll double check my door is locked and even latched and bolted yet I've still woken up the following day with my door unlocked. I thought I was doing it in my sleep so I set my cat cam up to record me and I'd never got out of bed once and the door still was unlocked.

I'm a 26 year old girl and just recently heard about the hair on the shower wall thing, and I just don't understand why people do that. It feels like it'd be harder to clean it all up than to just let it flow with the water and reach the drain, and you can just grab the hair on the drain after your shower and put all of it in the trash. Why scatter it on the wall???
because the shower not always takes it away fast enough or because we can feel it sliding on the skin and finally, if you don't take it, it can end in the butt crease. it's not fun to be competing with your body to be under the shower and one can prefere to clean the hair from the wall instead of the drain
@@dsoul1305yeah I agree it’s a lot easier to grab my loose hairs and put them on the shower wall so that I don’t end up with them in my butt crack and also so they don’t clog my drain. At the end of my shower I rub my hand in a couple circles over my hair on the wall to gather it and then toss it into the trash
@reesethumphries5416 😂😂 Yes, and it becomes a mesh ball that you can just dunk in the trash. It's so much better than unclogging a drain because the hair traps and builds up gunk overtime. It's too gross... I can only hope that I don't make the mistake of clogging the drain again 😵
