ok now that i thought about it... i’m uncomfortable with the idea of being with 9 other people HEAVILY BREATHING in a room for an hour... “Socially Distanced” but... no thanks 😬
I currently go to orange theory and I thought the same thing but you can wear a mask at least here in Miami you have the option no one uses the same machine everyone uses different ones meaning the number you get is the number you stay with and they give you wipes to wipe everything down before and after you use it they also come around with a spraying device and spray the machines before and after a class also from the look of the g it's alit smaller then the one I go to the one here has about 2 feet between the treadmills and the rowers
Nylda Llizo hi, i understand. I guess it just depends on preference. OTF has always had the assigned number system. I went there too before and i know how intense it can get 🥵 i can’t even breathe without a mask on 😅but goodluck on your workouts! Keep safe 🤗

I work at OrangeTheory and it is my favorite job I’ve ever had. And I LOVE the workouts! My studios are very tight knit and it makes it that much more fun. Highly recommend to everyone!

Orangetheory is literally one of the best things to happen to me! I’m in Toronto so it’s not open here yet but pre pandemic it was one of my favorite things ever. It’s very friendly to people from all walks of life, I highly recommend!!

Orangetheory workouts on CZcams got me through quarantine, I definitely plan on taking a class when I head off to university this fall since there is once close by

Congratulations on 2 years. Nice to see that you are enjoying Cincinnati! My parents moved here in the 60’s for a job with no intentions of staying but ended up liking Cincinnati so much they never left and neither did any of my siblings and I.

I'm not a fan of group workout classes so the Orange Theory class looked like a friggen nightmare to me. I prefer to be outside enjoying the fresh air. I feel like I'm the same way as you: always cold and if I get cold once, I'm wearing a coat or at least a jacket the rest of the day!

I LOVED orange theory but it was ultimately not worth the money, especially since I eventually started to memorize their treadmill intervals. Lol!! They also don’t always correct your form bc classes can be large.
Idk where your OT is but at mine even in full classes it never fails that the coach pushes me down on my planks 😂 I never get away with wrong form even when I want to 🥴

Clancy you should definitely try a class! I’ve been a member for 3.5 years and my sister is a member at the kenwood location. It’s great for anyone and the treadmill portion really pushes you to enhance your speeds.

Please please try orange theory! I promise you the BEST workout I have ever done! I’ve absolutely missed it during this pandemic. It’s a bit expensive but you can do the elite one which is around 100 dollars for 8 sessions a month (2 workouts a week). Since you have a gym at ur place you can workout on the other days there!
Crazy it is so cold in the US. In the UK it was 35°C (no idea what that is in Fahrenheit) but it was very very hot today!

One of my advertising clients is the University of Cincinnati and when I visited campus last summer we went to E+O! That brussel sprout salad is so damn good and those drinks were amazing OMFG! When I had that salad it was my first time trying shrimp too!

63, what a dream. 63 degrees and i'd be wearing a tank and a light long sleeve that i'd probably get too hot in.. but i'm also a new englander and cold is in my blood. p.s. my favorite bar EVER is old kentucky burbon bar in covington, KY. if you're in cinci, you're close. if you haven't been, check it out, it's amazing!

Clancy, have you had your iron count checked? Low iron might be the reason why you are so cold and wearing a winter coat in the summer. Just a thought.
I run everyday in a mask. I live in Chicago and its almost impossible to not have to pass someone on the sidewalk when exercising. It sucks for a the short amount of time but it saves lives and is super important. It feels privileged to even start to complain about it given how much others, especially POC here in Chicago have been more harshly impacted by COVID...
Try Pure Barre! It’s a pretty fun workout and goes great with running.

Old Navy sells face masks that give a good amount of room, very breathable.
The only thing I dislike about OTF is that you have to buy the heart rate monitor. I wish I could just take the class without the extra equipment.

You say you shower twice a day. How often do you wash your hair? My hair gets oily so easily. They dau not to wash it everyday, but i try to do it every other day and by the next day im OILY.
I wish it twice a week usually -- I try to go as long as possible!
