HOW TO MAKE FLOUNCE RUFFLES | Using Circular Patterns & Fishing Line | Didsbury Art Studio
Lets get creative with layering up a range of sizes of Flounces & using different types of fabrics to switch them up! I use a circular paper pattern and then I also show you how to use fishing line and a thicker hat brim wire in the hem. In this video I am using a mannequin to pin the flounce ruffles onto. What do you work as?
After doing my Textiles degree I did my PGCE training at Goldsmiths, University of London to become an Art and Design Secondary School Teacher. Currently, I work in a hospital teaching art part-time to 16-18 year olds. In addition, also teach art in my studio on Saturdays and I offer textile workshops to schools. I set up this channel in April 2020 after being furloughed during Lockdown but soon realised I really enjoyed designing, creating projects, filming and editing videos....
