The thing that makes infinite so amazing is the combination. The great combat with the amazing story is what makes this game special along with the environment. The balance between combat and story. In this game the two together make this the most amazing experience and that's y I'm so glad they're making a story based dlc too.
just finished Burial at Sea, and in my opinion its even better than the main game, because it keeps the high quality narrative, but with better Bioshock 1-like gameplay which was great. You can carry all weapons at the same time, the fights are not so big, but smaller. You cant just spray your bullets, you have to manage your resources well. Really worth it, though I recommend waiting for part 2 and play everything together. Then you have a great 6 hours experience for 20€(Season Pass).
I have noticed that you have been all around the BioShock Infinite news videos' comment sections. It's funny and quite nice to see someone that seems to be so enchanted by this universe.
♥ I CANT WAITWAITWAITWAIT FOR EPISODE 2!! ♥ I LOVE PLAYING THE ALL THREE GAMES! ♥♥ does anyone know when episode 2 is coming out?? i cant wait to play elizabeth pov!! ♥♥♥
this is without a doubt my favorite game of all time. The incredible story mixed with the amazing gameplay really kept me into it. Some said there was too much combat, but I think there was a perfect balance between combat and story. And sometimes they tell the story during combat. This game is perfect IN MY OPINION and is definitely without a doubt my favorite game of all time.
Bioshock Infinite, 10/10 for it's clever story, great characters, great voice acting, challenging gameplay, and beautiful world. One of the best games I've ever played. Thanks Irrational Games!
This...is...AWESOME!! I've always wondered what Rapture really looked like and how it was before it collapsed - this is gonna be great!! Irrational Games, don't let us down!
It was interesting to hear Ken Levine announce that. It seems her abilities have indeed allowed her to transcend the collapsing timelines. It will be interesting to see where the game goes from here.
Man I really love the fact that you really appreciate the beauty of this game. We definitely need more gamers who can actually spend more time in understanding a game's story rather than just shooting people's head off mindlessly. Keep up the good work A.J. Carroll.
Ken Levine and his team are good. Nobody had a flipping clue about where they would go with the DLC, lots of theories but they still surprised us. I still hope they cover what happens in the alternate reality where Booker fights for the resistance.
That's a really cool idea! I was thinking an underground city as well, but during the Cold War in the 1980s with nukes and such. That could be really cool too.
Fun fact: At the end of clash of the clouds(beat all maps and waves) you return to the museum with a new tear in the middle, music from the original bioshock is playing and when you open the tear, a splicer appears and attacks! thus the end of clash in the clouds and into burial at sea.
Very well could be, the possibilities are endless on this one. I'm surprised that Ken Levine decided to go in this direction. I'm excited to see the outcome considering how complex the plot and characters were in Infinite. It will combine the strenghts of Bioshock's setting with Infinite's characters and plot. Can't miss there.
i believe this follows after the ending scene in bioshock infinite and since he does not notice Elizabeth which possibly means the loop did not break or something else may have happened, though i'm not really sure
The idea of Multi Universes has been a theme in Science Fiction for years, its a easy scape goat to make more Bioshock games out of i am not afraid to admit that. And as long as they keep making games for the Bioshock name i am pretty happy. The story is always good and the game play is out of this world!
This most likely takes place in an alternate reality before the end of Bioshock Infinite. There's an essay at Scribd called, "Constants and Variables-Exploring the Many Doors of Bioshock Infinite." I think it might help.
No, it's after the end. Well, at least, I think this Elizabeth is the same one from Columbia. This Booker, tho, is a version of the Booker from Infinite who never experienced the events of Infinite. And for some reason, was taken through a tear to Dec. 31st 1958. Because it would mirror the events of the base game. Constants and variables.
Burial at Sea Episode 1 was amazing, it brings new light to Infinite while bringing the overall Bioshock series further into a seedy idealistic darkness. I won't spoil anything for anyone who hasn't yet played it, but I will say that it retains the high level of atmospheric immersion through in depth characters, environments, and storytelling.

the bioshock series is so amazing and emotional.... i love how the characters change the way they look in this game
Bioshock was honestly my favorite game. If they make a new one I hope they include big sisters and actually go into their backstory a bit more.
3 years later.....Nope...
@@Isaacfess well its been confirmed now
Has it? What's the new one going to be called?
@@moon_man4545 I too would like to know this.
@@Isaacfess its a new company thats making it so it may be bad
"no gods or kings, only man"
beautifull quote
You do realize a bunch of thugs and kidnappers made that quote right?

I love this music

It's really great to see what Rapture was like before the city fell. Just like the opening cinematic of Fallout 4.
;___; I want to play bioshock burial at sea so bad !
Did you?
"Wonderful Wonderful!" performed by Johnny Mathis
The whole 50's theme and soundtrack. I love it!
I will definitely be having gameplay of this on my channel as soon as its released!
Браво, маэстро!!!!
Да. Вот был бы такой подводный город по настоящему.
We probably shouldn't have gone to Rapture; any of you read your contract with Ryan? "In perpetuity."
We're all buried at sea.
Thanks :) I had not realized that had the mark on your arm
I Can't wait for this!!!
♥ I CANT WAITWAITWAITWAIT FOR EPISODE 2!! ♥ I LOVE PLAYING THE ALL THREE GAMES! ♥♥ does anyone know when episode 2 is coming out?? i cant wait to play elizabeth pov!! ♥♥♥

Yep, I'm very excited for this.
This was like the perfect song choice, too.
cant freaking wait!
I feel the same. I can't wait.
Cant wait for this
I like how Booker's voice sounds at the end.
only a few more days till we get episode 1
me so excited!

It's in the beginning of the Trailer. Can't miss it.
i see you on Every bioshock video dude it's freaking me out!
What a great idea you suggested, post it on the forums and they might notice it.
Bioshock Infinite, 10/10 for it's clever story, great characters, great voice acting, challenging gameplay, and beautiful world. One of the best games I've ever played. Thanks Irrational Games!
Can't wait! :D
Can't wait
this was announced on my birthday XD. Best present ever.
I cannot express how greatly appreciative I am of the Dragon Age reference~
this is just... perfection.
Ah, the bird collar! Nice details!
That needs to happen in order for any of this to happen
So wonderful. Never a bad thing happening..
Oh, cool :) Thanks!
I love the idea of seeing Rapture before it's fall.
I've waited so long for this!! I'm So Excited!!!:D
DUHHH!!! CitC is just a bonus for our long wait.
All the time spent in Bioshock 1 and 2 imagining will finally come to an end!
This...is...AWESOME!!
I've always wondered what Rapture really looked like and how it was before it collapsed - this is gonna be great!!
Irrational Games, don't let us down!
I have bioshock infinite and waited a long time for a dlc and I love this game its awesome

Infinite was awesome, but i really missed Rapture. Thanks Irrationalgames for making this! :D
OMG!!! IrrationalGames still have some suprises with their DLCS after Bioshock Infinite!!!! I cant wait to play all the DLCs!!!!! :D
OH MY GAWD I CANT WANT FOR THISSSSSSSSS
It's... It's beautiful. I can't stop watching this trailer. It's that good. IRRATIONAL, WHEN'S THE MAP GONNA COME OUT?!?!?!
Wonderful Wonderful- Johnny Mathis
YES! Big noir fan (finally getting around to reading James Ellroy) and I loved Bioshock Infinite, so this combo is basically a dream come true.
I always wanted to see it in the bioshock movie, but this DLC is just what I always wanted in the bioshock series :D
mille Grazieeeeee
I am just screaming at my computer right now. I need this in my life!
I respect you for loging in every day with that name.
Ken Levine and his team are good. Nobody had a flipping clue about where they would go with the DLC, lots of theories but they still surprised us. I still hope they cover what happens in the alternate reality where Booker fights for the resistance.
"The details elude me now, but the details wouldn't change a goddamn thing."
holy shit this looks awesome. They are actually doing one of the alternate realities.
Now THAT would be a plot twist...
Am I the only one who has watched this trailer over and over waiting for this to come out?
An alternate universe where booker lives in rapture? Love it!
The time frame between the two events are so drastically different. Booker would be around 70 years old by the time Rapture was built
I knew it was Rapture as soon as I saw the font on the door.
That's a really cool idea! I was thinking an underground city as well, but during the Cold War in the 1980s with nukes and such. That could be really cool too.
Rapture looks even more amazing!

I cannot count how many times I have watched this trailer.
Oh snap!

Wonderful Wonderful -- Johnny Mathis
Can't wait to see irrationals depiction of the fall of rapture. According to the trailer, it seems we are only a few hours to minutes away till 1959.
100% support this.
looks great
I always believed that Rapture needed a 'before the cataclysm' reboot. My god, I hope this is as good as it looks!
i believe this follows after the ending scene in bioshock infinite and since he does not notice Elizabeth which possibly means the loop did not break or something else may have happened, though i'm not really sure
I hope so that Booker won't die in the end in this dimension
THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME!!!! Andrew Ryan looks really wierd in the beginning though, almost like Lincoln..
Yes, yes please. My life would be complete.

So suave and nice, yet as crooked as a bent iron.
well now we know how long the game will be, hopefuly a full day.
Sooo good, there going to tie the 3 games story lines together!
This most likely takes place in an alternate reality before the end of Bioshock Infinite. There's an essay at Scribd called, "Constants and Variables-Exploring the Many Doors of Bioshock Infinite." I think it might help.
It is okay I know how you feel
i got chills and jumped out of my chair I was so happy
Maybe, oh well, I'm excited to figure out for myself when I play it.
This Really Atracted People Especially For Bioshock 1 And 2 Fans. (Thumbs Up)
The song is - Johnny Mathis - Wonderful Wonderful
I'm sure they all will be in it :)
YESS!!!
Ken levine said, "Booker will be fighting splicers"
The turns will table
The DLC comes out in 2014! I can't wait, it looks awesome!
Now waaaaaaait a minute.
Elizabeth still has the bird brooch.
The Song Is "Wonderful, Wonderful" By Johnny Mathis (1957)
No, it's after the end. Well, at least, I think this Elizabeth is the same one from Columbia. This Booker, tho, is a version of the Booker from Infinite who never experienced the events of Infinite. And for some reason, was taken through a tear to Dec. 31st 1958. Because it would mirror the events of the base game. Constants and variables.
The song name is "Wonderful! Wonderful!" by Johnny Mathis if anyone's interested
7/6/24 and still the best franchise to ever exist
Burial at Sea Episode 1 was amazing, it brings new light to Infinite while bringing the overall Bioshock series further into a seedy idealistic darkness.
I won't spoil anything for anyone who hasn't yet played it, but I will say that it retains the high level of atmospheric immersion through in depth characters, environments, and storytelling.
Also when booker lights Elizabeth's cigar you can see her pinky is still missing
