My Dad taught me from the time I could understand that there are no bad questions, the thing was, you needed to accept the answer, even if it’s not what I wanted to hear! I have lived by this my entire life and it has served me well in accepting things I may not have seen or considered before!
Another thing about my Dad is that I always admired…
He was a Lawyer. A trial Attorney. He always used Scriptures in his opening and closing remarks! He spent a lot of time, quiet and choosing his Scriptures!
He's a rare lawyer that most probably don't like...at least he glorified The Lord Jesus 😊❤

I was sold into human trafficking as a toddler by my biological mother. I was not free until just before my 36th birthday. I have been free now for 8 years. I have constantly chanted to myself, "I'm okay I'm okay it's okay it's okay..." What a profoundly powerful thing to say 'I've been hurt.' I don't want it to be true. The narcissist character one just have to rent out another human is high. I don't know how to trust nor whom to trust. My therapist is amazing and this video really speaks to me. Everything is changing because I'm seeing things differently. Telling myself that I'm okay that I'm fine, I just wanted to be tough. I was a toddler when the worst things began to happen to me. I don't want to repeat any of that. A lifetime of it didn't prepare me for living an adult life free. So I'm going to pray and admit what happened. I'm going to find the path to whatever comes next with as much gratitude and humility as I'm able. Thank you for this video

You are always a blessing Rabbi. When you speak of the Joy of God I can absolutely back that up myself. One of the ways that I have developed to fight the good fight is that I have not only totally rejected Road Rage (not easy to do living in NJ), but have developed habits that never fail to reward me with the Joy of God when I do them. Whenever I drive on a multi-lane roadway I stay in the right hand lane and do the speed limit. Any time I see another car up ahead that is trying to merge onto the road in front of me, I change lanes to allow them to enter before I get to where they are waiting. One day as I performed this maneuver, I noticed a car behind me that would prevent the car I was yielding to from entering the roadway, when as I looked that car too changed lanes behind me following my example so the third car could roll out into the right lane. As the car did that, the driver waved and when I pulled back into the right lane the car behind me did as well after it passed the third car. Realizing that my example led another in an act of kindness got me all choked up and the Joy of God filled my heart. There is absolutely NO pleasure in life that even comes close to that feeling and I experience it all the time. It is awesome. Thank you Rabbi Cahn, you are a great and a grand blessing to us all!

It is SO true that we tend to see what we want to see regarding romantic relationships. I’ve done it myself. We get “blinders”, and tend to see what we want. It’s SO important to have conversations about the scriptures , even ideology and politics, which can help us see if they actually have biblical views. I don’t care how attractive they are, or hiw nice they seem; if their views are not biblical, the marraige is going to cause a lot of pain and heartache

Jonathan this video really convicted me. I was in love witth my ownself and being flattered. But as I became older and my looks started to diminish I became ashamed. But after I started to seek Christ, I decided I will not loose my Abba father for no one. God has helped me to overcomr temptations. Satan still reminds me of my past life. Now Jesus gives me power to oovercome and GOD makes a way of escape. I want to live and love Jesus forever. No one should receive all honor but GOD for what he did at Calvary. I learn a lot from your sermons. Please pray for me I do not want to be lost. Jesus is too precious. Shalom.

" Rejected and Wounded "
I became schizophrenic , psychotic , when I was a young teenager. Thank you God , I was healed May 10th of 2017 , but for 50 years, 20,000 consecutive days, I was socially rejected in every human interaction . When I was healed 7 years ago, I was not relieved, instead I suddenly realized for the first time what had happened to me and where I was in life at 65 years of age. I had no one and I had nothing. I didn't even have opinions or a personality. I had no favorite way to dress , I had no favorite food or music, and I had no sexual preference . In the last seven years I have been making decisions that I should have had 50 years to make. I'm 72 , "if" I live long enough to decide what I am and what I want in this life I won't live long enough to do anything about it. I'm frustrated and angry and as always I am alone. (Please don't offer advice).
I gave up the expense of cable so no more TV! I haven't turned it on this year & don't miss it. With God I won't have to anymore 🙏.
