I didn't like that first skinny rail it was steep and low coming off that roof. He landed like halfway down and slammed on the rail with not much speed. Kinda hard to balance that, not like a regular handrail where u got some height to clear before u get on or at least a good run-up. And he was being rushed
When I was a kid, I of course didn't wear a helmet. As an adult, I find it irresponsible that the STANDARD in street skateboarding is NOT to wear a helmet. I think it was Elissa Steamer talking about her Toy Machine part. She did a hand rail wearing a helmet, and Jaime Thomas made her go back and do it again without one! It's bull shit. We all know if all pro skaters started wearing helmets tomorrow, most skaters would follow suit.
@KEYBOARD COMMANDO when I was 12 years old I ollied a local 10 stair. It was a big 10 too and I was the first to do it. But I had a helmet on! So people told me it didn't count and I had to redo it without the helmet. I don't know if they were just jealous haters or they really believed it didn't count. As a kid after that, I never wore a helmet again. When I went back to try and 180 it I didn't bring a helmet (didn't land it) 😕 But the culture is like that and it's kinda sad kids are being shamed for wearing a helmet. Notice Tony Hawk ALWAYS wore a helmet and tried hard to influence kids but he was the only one! If other pros did it then more kids would follow. It has to start with the pros

The combo of tobacco and marijuana is exponentially worse for the lungs. On top of that, it slowly decays the amount of gray matter in your brain, ruining the communication between left and right hemispheres of your brain. The affects on someone who isn't fully developed yet, physically and mentally are even worse. Affecting your neural pathways before maturing of the brain can stunt the development of the mind.
I smoked weed every day almost from 10th grade to junior year of college and yeah I'm fine, but I could have done a lot more and had a lot stronger lungs if I never did. I also feel like my memory became worse. It was also harder to stay motivated about school and literally anything else. I quit smoking and my life improved. It's fun to smoke weed, but don't for a second tell me it's not a bad habit. It's a waste of precious time. There are so many great times I have trouble remembering just because I was so high for extended periods of time. No bueno

amazing. that last rail was special though. you can tell he was really battling. started off great and progressively got more frustrated at himself and the rail. he hits his worst try landing in the bush, but proceeds to laugh it off and cleared his headspace. then he nailed it!
