    Love my Verona 40 LRB! yes, drive like a solid over the road truck. Tows 9,000 Lb trailer perfectly! Macerating toilets are fantastic! service is easy! my Windshield got hit hard on DAY ONE bringing home from picking up at Dylans RV, Safelight Auto Glass ad replacement windshield IN STOCK! less than 24 hours after sorting with insurance and windshield was replaced in under two hours. Just about any truck repair facility that services Cummins engines and Allison transmissions can service it! Replacement windshield wipers available at auto parts store, need I say more...

    Great review and love your channel!!!! We own a 2021 Renegade Verona 36VSB and really love it! We picked it up in February and have driven 12,000 miles already and spent just over 50 nights in the Coach. I think you did a great job of discussing the trade offs of a Super C vs Class A. We came from a much smaller Winnebago so the Verona seems huge. The quality of the build is excellent. You don't get a bunch of rattles and noise from the back of the coach when driving down the road. I hear a lot of folks talking about safety for Super C's if you are ever involved in a crash. This was certainly a top priority for us. However, another big one is the ease of serviceability to the engine and other systems as compared to Class A's. What about stopping power with the huge tires and air brakes. It is hard to beat a commercial truck platform in these areas. We hope to see you in a Renegade soon!

    If my main concern was towing capacity then a super c makes sense. Another pro is simplicity of service versus a class a diesel pusher. The con is reduced living space for the length versus a diesel pusher. Make sure you know the turning radius. I saw a 55 degree front wheel turn based on configuration. I don't know if the liquid springs affects that or not. Great high quality unit. Great video. Thanks.

  • @rollingeezer
    @rollingeezer Před 3 lety +6

    I really like super C’s but there were a few things I saw in the video that reminded me why I went with a Class A. The first is you have to virtually kneel on the ground to get to the storage compartments and they don’t provide the same storage capacity as an equivalent class A. The second is the A/C units are not vented throughout the coach so they don’t distribute air as efficiently as a class A. There are several models currently that have addressed these shortfalls but the Verona LE doesn’t look like they addressed these problems.

      We lucked out and found a 2022 VeronaLE coming off the line just when we decided we were going to buy one. We wanted the unusual and fairly new 37LMB floorplan and it just happened to be an order that a dealer had placed but hadn’t yet sold. It was loaded with everything including solar and lithium batteries so we jumped on it. We are very happy with it and agree that Renegade makes a quality motorhome. Never stop dreaming!!!!!! Izzy and MJ thank you for all your hard work be safe happy healthy in all you do and want!!!!!

    Definitely a good looking C, if I needed to pull a heavy trailer most of the time it would be a good option.
    I think for living and having space I'd still choose a Class A.
    Go 40+ft and you'd have more power and torque than that model and you'll be close to what that can tow. Even with my 15k tow rating I don't have anything to pull that weighs half of that lol

    We just recently received our Renegade Classic from IWS Sales in Idaho and drove it back East to the Pittsburgh area. By far this is the best motor home we have ever driven. It has the power to go up any hill. More importantly it is stable when driving and it doesn’t lean around turns or float. We will never go back to a Class A DP.

    Hands down y’all should step up to a Super C! It’s a great step up from any gas coach by far. We traded in our 2020 Allegro bus for this and it is the best thing we ever did! The safety alone compared to any well other than a Prevost, I better than any Class A made gas or Diesel. A steel rollover structure, driver and passenger air bags, a real bumper, engine and front axle to protect u in the event of a front collision. Did you know the survival rate of the driver and passenger in a class A during a head on collision is nearly 0😳 RV dealers and manufacturers don’t tell u that! RVs are not crash tested or held to those standards like passenger cars and commercial trucks.
    Then you have the serviceability where as any truck stop can and will work on your coach, not the case in a class A for sure. Then there is the towing capacity and the ground clearance that also rivals most all Class As on the market. JMO Love u guys and keep up the great vids!😘😘

    • @dennisreynolds6915
      @dennisreynolds6915 Před 3 lety

  • @aaronhendrickson
    @aaronhendrickson Před 3 lety +1

    Why don't they make front wheel drive ones?
    Where is the back kitchen in the motorhomes?
    You should have the option to run your AC off the batteries if there is enough amp hours.
    Crazy ideas, have a solar panel on the rear so you get power when the sun is behind you and car headlights would give you power.

    • @EndlessRVing
      @EndlessRVing  Před 3 lety

      HDT’s are rear wheel drive so they can haul heavy weight. At this point the amount of amp hours you would need to run an AC for an extended amount of time would be very costly. This unit has 3 AC’s. 50amp or diesel generator is still the best way to run it

    In my honest opinion, the 360 hp is inadequate for a 40 RV. If you're pulling anything behind it you're going to be crawling up hills. After driving a 45 ft DP with a 605 hp 1950 ft. lb. of torque, I would want a minimum of 450 hp on a 40 ft. Super C. You didn't say how much it weighs but a guide used by many for DPs is 1 hp for every 100 lbs of GVWR.

    • @EndlessRVing
      @EndlessRVing  Před 3 lety

      We test drove one of them last year. What I will say it got up to 75 mph with no issue. We found it to have more than ample power and it felt substantial on the road. Drove much better than the Essex we test drove. Just our opinion but they are very popular and we really like them. The only downside in our opinion is loss of interior and basement space.

    I love your reviews. For years we have “drooled” over the Super C’s, and always wanted one. Your reviews helped us learn more about them.But as several others have stated, if we needed to tow heavy, the super C would be the way to go, if we could afford it. After RVing for 35 years, and having owned SEVEN Class C rigs, towing quads , bikes and smaller trailers, and a small car, we have not had that need. But like everything else, it depends on your needs. Which I could have one!. Thanks again.

    We looked at both an LE bath and half model and a regular Verona bunk house model and bought the bunk model last month. There are some great features on the LE, like central locking for the basement doors, but the bunk area is huge for storage and will become a dog crate storage location when needed. Both are awesome RVs, can't go wrong with Renegade.

    The Renegades are the Best Super C’s out there. Too much money for a “Dated Interior”. Win goes to the “Newmar Superstar”…

      Look beyond the flash of an interior and focus on the build quality, structure and attention to detail. Win goes to Renegade & Showhauler.

    Look at the Dynamax Dynaquest XL. It gets the 112 cab with bigger cooling system, so they can run the 450 HP tune on the L9 Cummins.
    Renegade should do that with the LE.

    • @EndlessRVing
      @EndlessRVing  Před 3 lety +1

      They may. We looked at the Dynamax and there is certainly a difference in build quality with Renegade being the superior product in our opinion. Dynamax does make a nice coach but would not be our first choice.

      I asked the Renegade engineer at the show that exact question, his response was move up to the explorer.

    I want to love the Renegade's and my parents were in this unit with us at Hershey and loved it (in their 60's) but my wife and I just don't love the interior (in our late 30's). If they could go a bit more Dynamax Europa on the interior it's a home run.

    • @EndlessRVing
      @EndlessRVing  Před 3 lety +2

      We have a video on the Europa coming out, but the build quality on the Verona LE is a big step above the Europa.
      Thanks for watching.
