Hey there :) I liked this video. I agree in that it is not always a good idea to mirror someone’s conflict back to them. Then everyone has to escalate a notch and on it goes. My aunty used to drive us crazy with a saying that translates more or less as “The greatest revenge available to anyone anywhere is to live a good life. Anything less is self-destructive and nothing exasperates your opposes more.” I did wonder what your cat was looking for or if they were kind enough to leave anything intact in the closet.
You can prove people wrong by living a good life, but it takes time, and they have to be willing to see that it is good. I think my cat just gets curious, and hopefully she's not leaving me any presents in there.
