I love a good slide section, haven't played a game that has one in awhile and forgot about them. Glad I watched this while making my game lol, I can confirm that they are quite easy to program! Speaking of my game, would you be interesting in playtesting when I get to that point? Its a 1st-person parkour game like mirrors edge (but its way more unrealistic), and the gameplay(and future art) is mostly based on 3d Collectathon platformers from the late 90s and early 2000s. A lot of the games that I take inspiration from, I have seen you play over the years, so I think you'd enjoy it and also give great feedback to improve it.

I liked playing it on the PSP. Was a good way to play R&C without having to be at home playing the PS2, but yeah, it was kinda ass even though I enjoyed it as a kid
I think TLF is pretty good! IMO it's the least good in the Jak series, but good nonetheless! I've beaten it! As for your concern towards the ship sections, let me ease that a bit for you: If you enjoy the ship sections in RAC 2, you'll probably find TLF's ship sections OK too!

Have you played Secret Agent Clank? It's also on PS2 not just PSP and has a similar premise to this, but I think this one is much better.
