A draw is probably fair, but we could have and should have snatched it at the end. As much as I rate schar and his long range shooting abilities, I think trippier or Ritchie should have had the free kick at the end. Hopefully we can keep the unbeaten run going at Liverpool as hard as it'll be. I'll fancy our chances of am upset provided bruno returns and targett starts at left back. Burn is much better at centre half. Doesn't support the build up as naturally as targett would

Feel like we were worth the win but Wolves defended very well and hit us on the break effectively. I think they're a lot better than their position. Maxi was a bit wasteful but Wolves also doubled up on him effectively. Two great goals and a draw feels like a fair result.
This team is the start of the new era, era dominated by Newcastle United. We will eventually reach there, step by step. Rome was not built in a day. A good number 8 and a winger to this team will do for us this season. NUFC forever!

Great second half performance, Anderson was excellent when he came on and I hope he gets more opportunities as he offers more than Longstaff. What a goal by Maxi, such a shame he picked up the injury. Not sure why Schar took the freekick at the end, I may sound mad here but I may have let Ritchie take it or at least he should have square it to Ritchie next to him but regardless what a well earned point.

I think because the distance was very close, placement type like trippier and targett will risk the free kick goes over, while power style like shar can get them corner kick at worst. Wide like this is a poor ones

My thought was Ritchie is left footed which would have been ideal for that free kick, doesn't have much power in free kicks but at same time isn't as good at getting it up and over the wall, so squaring it to him would have been better option
@@augustushananvillaramaramo1213 it was if anything, too close for a decent effort from Trips. They decided to go for power instead of placement & nobody hits a near stationary ball harder than Fabi. I can understand their decision whilst still being disappointed with the outcome. 1ft to the right & it's a totally different story.
