Not only that, being a largely unused character online, I found it easier to play him against people who didn't know the match up. But I do know that Fei is S+ to most Japanese players now. Higher than Yun or Yang.
I think it's odd that Mago started picking Fei Long before AE was out, even in Japan. There's a conspiracy going on here. Mago is the secret leader of Capcom. Kidding. Good stuff Shin. Thanks buddy.
@bahaanaldo Fei was already pretty good in SSF4 and he didn't receive many buffs, except for some buffs on his normals, so I don't get why nobody played him in the first place. He was A or close to A tier already in SSF4 imo.
@FireCoTTon fei didnt have enough dominating matchups in super to be A tier. its because many characters got nerfed and fei didnt which allows him to be top tier range for this game. simlar to cviper
@XNDL44 nah there's a difference between being hard to play and hard to win with. makoto is ez to play but hard to win with at least in ssf4. in ae i dont think she's either but she's not op or noob friendly, just somewhere in the middle like cody
@attitude8x lol im not maining ryu anymore either :/ reason is cause im bored of using the same guy for 2 games straight and yun's super is so cool lol (that means i main yun lol)
@attitude8x cause most of the people was noobs that wanted to mash shoryu so all wanted to use him....now that the game is pretty old noobs gone and pro remain so very few use ryu atm..he also got nerfed somehow i heard...now all noob masher use evil ryu instead ahahaha

He is a pretty difficult character to use, since his strong combos are tough links and his game depends on spacing properly.

You gotta love Makoto players because of their precision. Besides Viper i think Makoto is the second hardest character to use.

@YuriBo26 Makoto is already reliable enough on her mixups. She would be completele useless if her damage gets nerfed.
